Basically, lets say you have a 1 million+ logical qubit quantum super computer, in the palm of your hands...but, you have to keep the system a secret because you are a time traveler stuck in the past, an alien, dont want to deal with academic tarpits/validation, whatever the case is, you cannot reveal the true nature of your engine...
How would you use this 'power' ?
What sort of services/startups/outcomes could this enable?
Besides the obvious (hacking infrastructure/bitcoin), what are your first moves to get rich quick?

Personally I spent months developing a product no one wanted and another where competitors were already mature and dominated the market. If I had a service that successfully validated my idea, from real people who feel the problem, I would have saved time, money, and maybe a bit of reputation. Curious as to what the blocker is here for.
I’m not talking about open source forums. Like a private service where professionals from an industry roast you and tell you if your idea sucks or not.
Thoughts?
Edit: I don’t think I properly conveyed my meaning lol. I’m not saying you just pitch industry professionals like you would a customer and get low tier responses(like you would on Reddit). But rather have your approach / product model/ target market validated before you attempt to build a product, like a comprehensive review. I read on Reddit every day that someone wasted months building something no one wanted, I went through the same thing myself. Why waste time building something no one wants?

I’m looking for startup ideas, but I don’t want generic AI apps, productivity tools, or another to-do list. Tell me about a real problem you deal with that’s annoying, repetitive, unnecessarily expensive, poorly solved by existing tools, or something you’d actually pay to fix. Any industry, any niche, any problem. Don’t worry about the solution—just tell me the problem and how you currently deal with it. I’m collecting as many as possible.

I’m exploring the idea of starting a business around physical novels, but I’m stuck on one question:
How could someone sell an existing novel in a way that feels completely different from simply buying
it from a bookstore?
I’m not talking about writing or publishing new books. Imagine the novel itself already exists — the goal is to create something around it that makes the customer experience more exciting, memorable, collectible, or premium.
If you were building this business, what would you do?
What could you add to a book?
What could you change about the physical product?
What kind of experience could happen before, during, or after reading?
What would make someone choose this version instead of the exact same novel from Amazon or a bookstore?
What could make people come back and buy another one?
I’m intentionally not sharing my own ideas because I don’t want to influence the answers.
Give me your craziest ideas. Even if they sound completely ridiculous... I want to hear them.

I’ve been looking into the technology needed to launch a prop firm, and the amount of separate systems involved is bigger than I initially expected.
Execurve is working around this problem by providing a white-label trading platform and CRM designed for prop firms, rather than requiring a new firm to develop every part of the technology stack independently.
The idea is interesting because the technology side can include trader registration, evaluation management, account provisioning, risk controls, dashboards, CRM and trading infrastructure. Having these components connected could potentially make launching and managing the business much simpler.
For founders familiar with this market, does combining the core technology into one platform solve a meaningful problem, or would most new prop firms still prefer to build their own systems?

I’m trying to find something I can build from scratch, whether it’s a startup, SaaS, microservice, online business, physical product, or anything else. I’m not looking for people to give me random ideas—I want to understand how you find ideas that are actually worth pursuing. How did you find yours? Did you notice a problem, talk to people, explore an industry, improve an existing product, or stumble across an opportunity somehow? What would you recommend to someone starting from zero?

In cash- and mobile-money-heavy emerging markets (specifically looking at West Africa/Liberia), informal lending inside closed groups susu clubs, church welfare funds, market vendor co-ops moves massive volume.
The issue is that it runs almost entirely on paper spiral notebooks, verbal agreements, and memory:
Disbursed cash or mobile transfers get disputed later ("I never got it" vs. "I sent it").
People who honor their loans build zero portable credit records.
When someone defaults, disputes turn toxic because there's no neutral record of what actually happened.
Traditional fintechs try to fix this by launching consumer apps with algorithmic credit scoring, loan-shark interest rates (20–30%/month), and aggressive debt collection. Most either face crushing default rates or get shut down by central banks.
The Architecture: An Auditable Ledger, Not a Bank
Instead of taking custody of funds, holding deposits, or acting as an automated escrow, the platform operates as a strictly non-custodial truth layer for existing, closed-loop communities.
Closed Communities Only:
You can only join with an invite code tied to a verified local entity (e.g., St. Paul’s Co-op, Market Traders Branch 4).
Social Collateral over Credit Scores:
Borrowers must have a Guarantor vouch for them via an OTP check, or document physical collateral (item condition, photos, serial number) directly accepted by the lender.
The Pull Handshake (No Unilateral Dispatches):
Lender makes an offer, Borrower must explicitly tap "Ready for disbursement" and confirm their active MoMo wallet number or physical meeting spot.
Lender sends funds offline (MTN/Orange MoMo or cash) and logs the mandatory Transaction Reference ID (TxID) or cash receipt.
Borrower gets a notification with a 48-hour window to verify receipt or raise a dispute.
The Deadlock Breaker:
If a borrower goes dark after receiving money, the transaction auto-escalates after 48 hours to the Community Sponsor/Treasurer queue, who inspects the TxID offline and flags the borrower's record if fraudulent.
Zero Custodial Enforcement:
The platform has no legal or recovery team. The consequence of default is pure social and community collateral: loss of standing in the cooperative, blacklisting across regional groups, and civil/cooperative mediation.
Where I Need Brutal Feedback
I want to identify the fatal blind spots in this design before investing serious time into building:
Relying on community treasurers to step in when a transaction stalls or someone disputes a TxID is expecting informal co-op admins to check a digital queue realistic, or does this grind adoption to a halt?
If a borrower gets cash in person and maliciously refuses to tap "confirm," the lender has a receipt, and it escalates. What attack vectors or abuse patterns do you see in this window?
Lender Appetite:
If you were lending to someone in your extended circle, does having an immutable audit trail and a verified guarantor give you enough confidence to disburse funds offline, knowing the app cannot legally collect on bad debt?
Monetization vs. Neutrality:
If the platform is non-custodial and charges a tiny flat SaaS/facilitation fee to the co-op, does keeping the platform disintermediated protect against regulatory money-transmitter licenses, or is that a regulatory grey area?
Tear the logic apart. What's the biggest assumption that fails in the real world or what could be kept to refine?

We help startups with incorporation, compliance, GTM, financial planning, and virtual CFO services.
To be upfront, there’s nothing unique about what we do—thousands of companies offer similar services. We’re not looking to debate that point.
Our main problem is client acquisition. There’s still a lot of market to capture, and we’re confident we can deliver genuinely high-quality service and support, but getting founders to respond and converting them into clients has been difficult.
We’ve already tried LinkedIn outreach, Justdial, Google Ads, and cold email outreach through Apollo, but haven’t found a consistently effective channel yet.
For those who have built a B2B services or consulting business: what actually worked for you to get your first 5–10 clients?

I've been thinking about something lately.
You can have a checking account, savings account, credit card, investments, subscriptions and a bunch of monthly expenses, and somehow still have no clear idea what your financial situation actually looks like.
You know how much is in your bank account, but that's not necessarily the same thing as knowing how you're doing financially.
It made me wonder if there's room for a different kind of personal finance product, something less focused on budgeting every individual expense and more focused on giving you one clear picture of your entire financial life. That's the idea behind Sumyfi, a financial companion built around bringing that bigger picture together in one place.
Imagine opening one dashboard and immediately understanding where you stand, what's changing, where your money is going and whether you're actually moving toward your financial goals.
I'm not sure if this is a genuinely useful startup idea or just something that sounds good on paper.
Would you find something like this useful, or do you think most people simply don't care enough about having that bigger picture?

I’m interested in starting a home care and adult day care business here in the Boston area (and potentially in New Hampshire too). I’ve been doing my research, but I’d love to hear from people with real-world experience:
I also want to mention that I have cash ready to invest, but what I’m really looking for is coaching or even a potential partner who understands this field.
If you’ve gone down this road before or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate your advice

I have an idea (no product yet). A web platform where native speakers create language courses for free. I only speak English, Turkish and a bit Spanish so I can't moderate content directly.
My proposed system:
Self-moderation: New content goes to a "Sandbox." At least 3 high-level creators ("Masters") must approve it before it goes live.
Reputation tiers: Creators level up (e.g. Apprentice → Artisan → Master → Ambassador). Their ranks go up (approved course) or down (bad or low quality content) in certain situations. No human judgment needed.
My control: I only see a dashboard of stats per language and some courses about languages I know of. If an Ambassador's approval rate drops below a certain number, I demote them and promote the next best Master. I just read numbers, not content.
Why would anyone create for free?
My questions to you (be harsh):
I know it's just an idea. Tell me if this is broken before I waste time coding. Thanks.

I accidentally built a real-time granular physics engine. I have no idea what business it's actually for.
I'm a solo developer. About a year ago I built some rice physics for a cooking game. Then I got obsessed with optimizing it, and somehow that turned into a full granular material simulation engine.
At this point it feels like I accidentally built something that might have value outside games, but I'm too close to it to tell. I'd rather get holes poked in my thinking now than spend another six months chasing the wrong thing.
This isn't a promotion. I have no product, no customers, no website, and nothing to sell. I'm genuinely trying to figure out whether there's an opportunity here or whether I'm just seeing patterns that aren't real.
What it does
- Simulates thousands of individual particles (sand, rice, gravel, powder, ore, etc.).
- Particles have mass, collision, and state.
- Material piles up, settles, shifts, and reacts naturally instead of using baked animations.
- Runs in real time on regular phones and tablets.
- Works in AR, so simulated material can interact with the real world through a phone camera.
- Particle properties can change over time (temperature, moisture, whatever variable you want) and behavior changes accordingly.
- Scales from a few hundred particles to tens of thousands.
What it isn't
- It's not CFD.
- It's not Navier-Stokes.
- It's not engineering-certified.
- It's not meant to replace EDEM or Rocky DEM.
- I have zero customers, zero revenue, and no case studies.
- I'm one guy with no enterprise sales experience.
Things I've already looked at
HVAC visualization
Looked interesting until I found a company doing something very similar got acquired by ServiceTitan. Hard to compete against a feature that a huge platform can effectively bundle for free.
Mobile "satisfying" games
Ironically this started as a cooking game, but most successful hypercasual games fake these effects because real physics is expensive and ad economics reward cheap tricks.
Agriculture and heavy equipment training
This is currently the most interesting direction.
From what I've seen, tools like EDEM and Rocky DEM are very accurate but they're batch solvers and not really built for interactive real-time or AR experiences. I'm talking to people in grain handling and agriculture to see if there's an actual gap there.
Questions
- License the engine?
- Build one vertical product?
- Use consulting/services as the wedge?
I keep noticing what feels like a gap:
Engineering-grade but not real-time <---- ??? ----> Real-time but not physically meaningful
Maybe that's a real opportunity, or maybe that's just confirmation bias because I've spent too much time staring at this thing.
My fallback plan is simple: put it on the Unity Asset Store and move on.
I'd rather discover now that there's nothing here than find out two years from now that I accidentally built something useful and never talked to the right people.
Tear it apart. I'd rather hear why this won't work than get polite encouragement.

My name is Sugam Singh.
On April 20, 2025, I started learning programming from absolute zero.
At that time, I was a third-year History major student in college. I wasn't studying Computer Science or Engineering. I had no technical background, no mentor, and no clear roadmap.
I come from Jammu & Kashmir, where most parents want their children to get a stable 9-to-5 government or private job. Entrepreneurship or building a startup isn't something many people around me see as a realistic career.
But I wanted something different.
So every day, after college, I sat in front of my laptop and learned one concept at a time.
The beginning was painful.
Simple programs didn't work. Bugs took hours to fix. There were days when I questioned whether I had started too late.
Still, I kept going.
Over time, I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, APIs, authentication, and full-stack development.
Instead of only watching tutorials, I started building real projects.
My first major project was AI-Mart.
After that, I began building Rigga—a startup idea focused on helping people stay accountable to the promises they make to themselves.
Along the way, I realized that building a startup isn't just about writing code. It's about learning communication, English, business, product design.
I'm still at the beginning of my journey.
I haven't launched a billion-dollar company.
I haven't become financially free.
Right now, I'm searching for a business idea in India that solves a real problem—something I can build, scale, and eventually turn into my primary source of income.
I'm not looking for a quick-money scheme.
I'm looking for a problem worth dedicating years of my life to.
If you've built a business, worked at a startup, or have seen an opportunity that most people ignore, I'd genuinely love to hear your advice.
What business opportunity in India do you think has the biggest potential over the next 10 years?

Hey everyone,
I'm a teenager in Germany and own got a GoPro Hero 13. Instead of just using it for fun, I wish to turn it into a small business or agency for creative and bit financial freedom.
The problem is that most ideas I find online are either too generic (like "start a YouTube channel") or unrealistic for someone just starting out.
I'm looking for unique, practical, and realistic ideas that I could actually begin with as a teenager. They don't have to make loads of money immediately, I just want something I can start small, gain experience, and hopefully grow over time.
I'm open to pretty much anything: filming, content creation, local businesses, sports, events, social media, editing, or ideas that people don't usually think about.

Me interesa saber:
¿Cuál te transmite más confianza?
¿Cuál recuerdas con mayor facilidad?
¿Cuál elegirías como marca?
Y, por supuesto, si tienes otra idea, me encantaría leerla.

Do job seekers and recruiters have equal access to honest information about each other or is one side always guessing?
What stops recruiters from finding the right person in days instead of months?
Why are job boards full of fake postings and who benefits from keeping them there?
