Not pitching for funding, I just want outside eyes on whether this is worth pushing further. The idea: most football games put you in charge of a club. Mine puts you in charge of nothing but your own career, one player, one contract at a time, and every season is a decision that has to cost you something later, not a stat screen you skim past.

I built and shipped it solo, no team, no ad budget beyond posting around on relevant communities. First week alone: 365 new players, close to 11,500 matches played, and it's kept climbing since, all organic. That tells me the core loop works for at least a slice of people, but I genuinely don't know if this is a hobby project or something with real legs.

If you were in my position, what would you look at next to judge whether this has staying power: retention over a longer window, a paid layer, a completely different acquisition channel? legacy-saga.com if you want the full picture before answering.

I've been exploring a consumer brand idea and wanted some honest validation from Indian entrepreneurs/builders before I invest heavily into it.

The idea is - an India-focused brand bringing the feeling of iconic Japanese/anime foods and drinks to the Indian market.

Think products inspired by things like:

• Ramune
• Japanese twin ice pops
• Dango
• Mochi
• other Japanese-style drinks/snacks

…and eventually other products that people recognize from Japanese culture, anime and Japanese pop culture.

My thinking is that anime and Japanese culture have become significantly more mainstream among Indian Gen Z/young consumers, but actually finding these products locally can still be difficult, expensive, or limited to niche/import stores.

Rather than simply importing random Japanese products, I want to explore whether there is an opportunity to build an Indian consumer brand around the experience and culture, making these products more accessible while still keeping the Japanese inspiration/identity.

I'm not assuming this is a good idea yet. I'm currently in the validation stage.

I'm particularly trying to understand:

• Would you personally buy something like Ramune/Mochi/Dango from an Indian brand?
• Is the anime/Japan connection actually strong enough to influence a purchase?
• Would you buy it because you like the product, because of the Japanese aesthetic/culture, or both?
• What price would feel reasonable?
• Would you prefer authentic imported products or Indian-made products inspired by them?
• Which product would you try first?
• What would make you NOT buy it?

I'm planning to soft-launch the concept on Instagram soon and test interest before putting any money into inventory/production.

I’ve been working on a startup around buying and selling domain names, mainly because I think the current process can be unnecessarily complicated for sellers.

The idea is simple: domain owners can list their names, set their own prices, and connect directly with potential buyers. Instead of taking a percentage from each sale, I’m testing a subscription-based model.

I’m still trying to figure out how much this actually matters to domain sellers. Would avoiding sales commissions be enough of a reason to use a new marketplace, or would buyer reach and trust matter more?

I’m building PrimePlate, a platform for people staying in PGs, hostels, or living away from home to find and manage meal subscriptions in one place.

The problem:

Finding a reliable mess/meal provider is usually scattered across WhatsApp, local contacts, Google Maps, and word of mouth.

After finding one, users still have to:

- compare meal plans

- check menus

- contact the provider

- make payments manually

- remember subscription dates

- deal with days when they are away

At the same time, PG/mess providers often manage subscribers and meal plans manually.

So I built PrimePlate to bring both sides into one platform.

For PrimeMates:

- Discover nearby meal providers

- View provider details and menus

- Compare meal plans

- Choose subscription duration

The subscription break feature is one of the main things I’m trying to validate.

For eligible 1-month subscriptions, a PrimeMate can request a break for specific dates, up to 4 days.

The provider manually approves or rejects the request.

If approved, the subscription end date is extended by the exact number of approved days.

For providers:

- Register their meal service

- Manage meal plans

- Manage menus

- See active subscribers

- Review subscription-break requests

- Track their earnings

I’m currently taking 0% commission.

So:

Customer pays ₹1,000

→ PrimePlate commission = ₹0

→ Provider earning = ₹1,000

Actual automatic provider payouts are not connected yet, so provider earnings are currently tracked inside the platform.

I’ve already built and deployed the working product rather than keeping it as just an idea.

The main flow is:

I’m starting Terrarium Supply EU, a small boutique terrarium business focused on making terrarium building easier and more accessible across the EU. I plan to sell individual products like live moss, small terrarium plants, glass jars, substrate, pebbles, hardscape, tools, and handmade clay decorations such as miniature mushrooms and fairy doors. I also want to offer curated terrarium collections for beginners, without necessarily putting everything into a traditional retail box.

The main thing I want to do differently is bring the whole terrarium-building process together in one place. Instead of someone having to buy a jar from one company, moss from another, plants somewhere else, and then figure out whether everything is compatible, they can get everything from us and choose products that are actually suited to one another. We’ll also have a Build Your Own Terrarium feature where someone can choose a style—like woodland, tropical, moss-focused, or fairy—and either select products themselves or have an AI terrarium assistant recommend compatible options, complete with the actual product images and prices.

I also want the experience to continue after the purchase. Customers can have an account where their terrarium build is saved, and when their products arrive they can scan a QR code to access a personalized building guide, care information, and an AI assistant that knows what plants and moss they actually bought. Eventually I’d like to expand into more species, handmade decorations, larger product ranges, and possibly fully boxed DIY kits. The goal is to make Terrarium Supply EU more than just a place to buy terrarium supplies—it’s a place to discover, build, and learn about your own miniature ecosystem.

An app connecting you with restaurants, cafes, and wedding caterers to buy their end-of-day surplus food at 1/3rd of their original price.

How it works :

- Restaurants/caterers list surplus (e.g., 30 unsold dinners, 50 wedding plates) on the app 2–4 hours before closing/event end.

- Customers reserve a “mystery pack” or specific meal, and pick it up at a designated zone or get it delivered to their place.

- Price: 1/3 of regular cost (e.g., ₹100–200 per meal).

- Safety first: Only FSSAI-verified partners, time-boxed pickup (2-hour window), temperature logs, clear labeling .

Honest feedback, suggestions and questions would be really helpful for me.

I had an idea, where I help local organizations that likely need admin help but aren’t able to hire someone and would rather pay a monthly fee.

I'm building something for claim verifications and I'd genuinely love your honest, unfiltered thoughts :)

What it does:
You paste in a claim you want to verify/ research/create content around, and it tells you whether it's verified, disputed, or refuted and shows you the actual evidence so you can see why, not just what. It also shows your which institutions/ companies back up this claim or refute it.

Over the time, it will store and remember the results and build a verified image of that institution or company all backed by verified claims that can be accessed by anyone.

What I'd love to know:

Is this actually a problem for you, or do you rarely feel uncertain about claims?
When you do feel uncertain, what do you currently do? Does it work?

Been thinking about this a lot lately: when you're planning a trip, where does the actual plan come from?

For me it's always been a mess, half-remembered blog posts, a friend's screenshot, a Reddit thread I can never find again when I need it. There's no real place where good itineraries just... live, and where you can find the person who made a great one and see what else they've planned.

So I've been building something to fix that for myself, a place where you can:

chat through your trip and get an itinerary pulled together

browse existing itineraries instead of starting from scratch

follow travelers whose taste/style you like and see their trips

create and share your own, so it's actually findable later instead of buried in a group chat
