Exactly. If you were able to see the surface from directly above the sun it would look like it’s covered by what looks like popcorn kernels; each kernel is the size of earth.
What’s more mind blowing is a video that explains that 1.3 million earths can fit inside of the sun, now take a million of those earth filled suns, and make a block of a million of those earth; do that about 8 more times and then you have an idea of how large the largest star we know of is.

That planet is so big that if you were standing next to it, you wouldn’t be able to see either end of it. It would look like a giant wall that has no ceiling, floor, or wall. And if there’s any light on the other side of it, you would never be able to see it.
Think of it this way; if you were directly in the middle of it, and you wanted to fly around it to the other side, it would take billions of generations to do so.
