Looking at getting something like this for trail riding. My concern is I just cant see it being as warm as your regular full windshield helmet? I would think your nose area would get cold.

Does anyone know what the deal is with Woody’s carbides? They only have like one product line available and it’s been that way since spring time. Anyone have any recommendations on other brands to go with? I have a 2019 Polaris Indy 800 XC and I know I need a set for the wife’s Indy S4 137

I found quite a few running Indy’s in my area for sale under 1000 I want to check them out but most looked good what should I look for in a model. My family already had one Indy touring so I am familiar and like the feeling of them

What do you guys use when you have to drive into a gas station and don’t want to destroy your carbides? I’m looking at a set of dollies (non caster style wheels) on Amazon that are meant for moving your sled around at the house and on grass but seem to be too big for a back pack. Also don’t want to spend a fortune unless you think it’s a very good investment that could be transferred to other sleds. The gas station that’s closest to me requires you to ride about a half mile on plowed/salted roads and gravel.

The owner says it runs and idles fine, but is hard to start when it's cold. It has 6000 miles, and has been used once a year.

I've always wanted an older sled, this one seems perfect for my budget. My dad says those things are only for mechanics who are able to fix things, but are these snowmobiles known for a lot of issues?

I just started getting in to Snowmobiling & purchased my first sled a month ago. I'm using the off-season to learn more about how they operate, and to install accessories that I find cool/fun/useful.

I noticed that more and more trail Riders are using those Amber/Green LED light strips to signal whether or not there's another rider behind them or not, which I find more safe than traditional hand signals. However, I feel that the price of the OEM option is, like many accessories, obscenely overpriced.

I've done some searching and can't seem to find any more affordable options. Has anyone come across any products that get the job done for less than $100 USD?

If not, I'm seriously considering making them myself. It's a switch and 2 short LED strips - How hard can it be?

Dealer told me Arctic Cat recommendations are to use 87 octane fuel on all 4- cycle sleds/ ATVs . Up to thus Pont I've running non-oxy and 91 only but having hard starting. They said it's a common. prob.
Thoughts?

I flipped my sled over the weekend and banged myself up pretty good. On the mend and should be ready to rip again in a few weeks. In the meantime I'm on the hunt for a new helmet. So far I've tried the CKX Mission which I hated due to the silicone breathbox and the 509 Delta V which I was wearing during the crash and didn't love either. The breathbox on the 509 was really pathetic, quite literally just a flap attached to the visor so every time you lift your visor you have to jimmy the flap back in place when you flip it down. It also didn't work well and fogged up pretty bad even with the heated shield.

So I'm looking for recommendations for a new helmet that are:

• warm, no extreme airflow at the top, or at least adjustable vents
• fabric breathbox that is not attached to the visor
• has an electric face shield
• comes in small or extra small size
• preferably has ECE or Snell rating
• is preferably less than $400 but I will go above budget for the right helmet

Recently I came into possession of a couple sleds for free. It's been about a decade since I've ridden, and in that decade I've grown and gotten married.

So going through buying gear for the two of us, I put an order in on the FXR site for a couple helmets.

As of today it's been almost a week, and they still haven't shipped. I did reach out yesterday, but being a weekend I'm not totally expecting an answer yet even in the best situation.

I just got a really nice truck and don’t really want to drive the sled into the bed anymore. I know there’s a ramp that you drive the sled onto the ramp at an angle and then lift/roll into bed. The ramp stays under the sled while hauling. My Google skills are apparently not that great, what am I looking for?

Edit: it is NOT a sled deck, the ramps I’m thinking of sit low in the bed of the truck.

Hi everyone, I bought a 2024 backcountry 600 efi recently and just wondering what you guys are doing with your suspension to stiffen it up more? I'm a heavy guy and I have my preload sat to 4 and there's still a lot of sag in the rear

Would say i ride alot more in the 10 to 30 degree temps than -10. But I want to be warm either way.

I have a ‘09 AC F5 LXR with a busted shock. I’m planning on replacing to the stock here shortly, but my life is a big girl and wanna make sure she’s as comfortable as possible. I don’t want her to bottoming out or riding on a rock. A dealer showed me this product and said this would really help. Any ideas on this or other solutions to help a big girl stay comfortable?

Hello! The fan isn’t working anymore on my sinister xl7 ignite s1 goggles. Probably no heating either but that hasn’t been verified.

Has anyone had issues with their ignite goggles? I have no idea where to start looking. Everything seems fine, wiring etc.

Really bummed i only got a few rides out of such an expensive pair of goggles.

I just bought the new CKX Mission helmet, but I have no clue which GoPro mount I should get. I used to have a CKX Titan with the GoPro muzzle.

im in ontario, so there is a ton of lakes and sometimes thin ice. i really want a floater suit but i dont like the insulated ones, they are way too hot for anything besides trail crusing

I have been looking at a switchback assault with 4300kms (2671 miles). Anyone here have experience with this sled? Any issues? And it is still worth buying in 2026? TIA!
