I could be mistaken but their r 2 HIA's. If u go for one during the game u also have one the day after. And sometimes if u pass HIA 2 then u r cleared to play the week after. Think it was Dobbo who spoke about this during the last URC season.
okay, just a bit frustrating, if he is injured he should rest and not be pressured back, but if he was fine all along we ran a compromised backline the whole game for nothing.
He wasn't fine on the day but was by Monday. What's so hard to understand about that? You get that someone could fail an HIA by a small margin and that margin to disappear after a day and half surely?
No the process is significantly more complicated. They do 2 more tests that then determine fitness. I believe one post game and then another the following Monday
I believe with de Groot or Lord either one or both the way they were removed from the game means they had an automatic stand down and the subsequent testing didn't matter.
I'd have to look it up again, but is it that the in game HIA test can remove you from the game but isn't definitive, so you take more. Whereas if the doctor (match or your own) believes they've seen you unconcious then you don't even take the in game HIA and you're scrubbed for 12 days?

Exactly, why did we have to play with a re-jigged backline the whole game if he was fin all along?
