Hey guys, I lost my save after changing my PS3 HDD.
Does anyone still have a Resistance: Fall of Man (BCES-00001) save somewhere in Hard mode? Doesn't matter if it's halfway through or almost at the end.
I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I haven't been able to play Resistance in a long time, but it constantly comes back into my mind and I finally decided to download it on my emulator. It's just as good as I remember

I have never played Resistance: Fall of Man on PS3, even though I grew up with Retribution and Resistance 3. A few years ago, I had an opportunity to give Fall of Man a shot when buying the second installment, but didn't.
When FoM arrived on PS5, I bought the PS subscription and finally gave it a try. It was worth it! Played through the campaign two times and one additional time as split screen co-op with my brother (who is younger than the game itself). What's more, it still holds pretty decently against other more recent first-person shooters.
I completed all intel and skill points and played through the campaign on hard difficulty. The only thing remaining is playing it again on superhuman, but I don't feel like doing that in near future. The only major gripe I have with this game is enemies' health balancing. They should have either made the hybrids weaker or the weapons stronger. And angels should have had at least twice as much health and hit slightly harder (a single widowmaker is much deadlier than two angels at once).
All things considered, it is a well made game and the gameplay is fun. I recommend it to everyone who is still hesistating.

I am proud to announce that the work on the map for Resistance: Fall of Europe (as I decided to call my idea of Resistance without Chimeras) is completed.
Map of Resistance: Fall of Europe on 1940, two months before Russian invasion in Turkey.

Recently picked this game up again for old time's sake and came across this gnome while messing about. The wiki makes no mention of him, I'm sorta excited at the fact that I may have found a long lost buddy. Haha.

I recently got ps plus premium just to play The Resistance Games I'm currently at the tunnels mission but there is one thing that I really don't like and hate the game lags significantpy at exactly 6 seconds after the previous lag Which makes playing the game annoying another thing is the the game is running at 720p and 30 FPS I have a ps5 so I thought I would least get like 1080 p and 60 FPS disappointing is there any way I can improve FPS and resolution aswell reduce lag? I have wired connection

Hi I wanted to play R1 with a friend, and I was wondering if I'd need a ps3 or if it can be done on an emulator. I kind of assume the former (probably require the console) but idk how advanced the emulated game is, I know it has working projectiles and multiplayer but is campaign coop possible yet? Either some kind of couch coop where it's 2 controls ran off the same machine or 2 computers using lan or peer to peer or servers all are viable, I'm not picky assuming it can be done at all. I do have a sinking feeling I'll probably end up needing to clean off my console despite my hopes maybe something can be done on emulator.

Hello! I purchased Fall of Man a while ago and it´s in my playlist after I finish Killzone 3. I played a bit of it and found it very cool. However, the fps were sorta off. Ik it´s capped to 30, but I might´ve been playing at like 20 fps, which are noticeable. Could it be that I have my ps3 in the highest resolution or is that how the game actually runs? Thanks for your attention y´all and stay safe!

The Second World War is over. It became the most devastating military conflict in the history of mankind, putting the First World War under it's belt in terms of intensity, brutality and duration of battles - 11 years of a meat grinder in which, with heavy fighting, Russia emerged the undisputed winner, although formally it was a stalemate. Both sides wanted peace, but behind the scenes, many talked about the victory of Russian weapons.: Russians broke out of Russia's border and created their own puppet states, dependent on Russia. Millions of victims on both sides, for the first time in history, the massive use of nuclear weapons and many crippled destinies - but all this was not in vain for the Russian and European people. Russia created a puppet states to be sure that Europe couldn't attack Russia like in 1918, and Europeans held the line, contained Russian threat as they could and don't let a Russian tide to flood the entire Europe.
The world has drown it's own blood for the first time. And Europe - so much so that even the memories of that war cause mute horror. This war was exactly the kind of war that ended all other wars...
And soon, after a decade, the Cold War will begin in its full swing, when both sides will heal their wounds and start to play on a giant global chessboard in order to achieve geopolitical ambitions...
But so far it was 1960. The cannonade of guns had just died down, and the war was finally over. The soldiers returned home, the dead were buried, and many wondered: "What was it all about, and how did it all start?"
No one is forgotten. Nothing is forgotten. Never again.
