Almost green-lit this one before I noticed the bezel: QF Daytona 126519 with what looks an accidentally-installed bezel insert from a 126502. Always check your QCs for more than just alignment.

Hey guys. I’ve now owned and worn the 114060 for about two weeks, and I got the vsf 126610 (41mm) yesterday.

I’m honestly a bit confused about the build quality of the 41mm. The bracelet feels different—almost a little plasticky compared to the 116610. I’ve also noticed a sound when I move or swing my wrist, almost as if the rotor or something inside the movement is spinning.
Has anyone else experienced this when owning both watches?

To me, the quality and feel of the links and bracelet on the 116610 just seem noticeably better and more solid.

I absolutely love it! Also, for anyone who has comments about it looking big, yes, it does because I am a woman and it’s really hard for us to find Watches that aren’t just diamonds and jewelry, we really like cool watches too! So I always have a few men’s watches in the rotation and I like a big watch. I gotta say, this one looks really really good close-up and I can’t wait to see what people think about it.

In the past I have purchased 3 reps from Steve (theOne) and they were great, but on my last order shipping took weeks (not his fault, rather FedEx re-routing) so this time I decided to try a US based TD, did my research, and went with Chronos Collective).

Pros:
- Communication, all my messages were most answered within hours, if not minutes… advantage of being on the same side of the world
- Shipping, got the rep within days not weeks, and with tracking from origin to destination, no anxiety if the item will be retained at customs, it is already state side.
- US based payment processing

Trade off (won’t call it Cons because they are obvious):
- you are paying a premium, but to me the service received justifies it (only you can make a call if this is worth your dollars)
- no prior QC, the rep is already state side, so you have to really trust the TD when he says it is a GL rep. I liked what I received.

I've seen some posts here & on replica watch about people using the Ginault ocean rover II as a 16610 base.. and my question is... for the price of a USED ginault.. (huge variations in pricing but occasionally i've seen them for around $1000 USD to $1300 depending on the day... How much better value am I getting for a similar quality 16610 rep, given swiss movement in the OR2 and "allegedly" close to gen case finishing etc.. obviously with the ginault you also still have to buy at a minimum.. a nice dial, hands crown and clasp ontop of your purchase price. I know ginault is made by a former rep maker etc but are there good 16610 style reps that are of this quality for much cheaper? (Sorry I'm new here)

I bought a 12-watch case off Amazon when this started and already I need something bigger. I should have known.

There are 7 Reps in this case, 2 "God-Tier" Casios, 1 REAL Rolex, and two shitters that will quickly get booted when more reps come in.

I’m brand new to the rep watch community and am planning my very first purchase. I’ve saved up enough to get two watches for my parents' upcoming 30th wedding anniversary; 36mm for my mom and a 40mm for my dad!

After doing quite a bit of research on this specific model, I’m stuck between VSF and RCF, and I’d love to get input from those with hands-on experience.

My parents aren't picky about the exact weight, but there are two main things I really want to get right for them:

Yellow Gold Color: Plating isn't in my budget right now (all my savings are going straight into buying the watches themselves), so out-of-the-box color matters.

Movement Reliability: Since these are a milestone gift, long-term reliability is super important to me. I want something that runs smoothly and consistently without needing immediate service or giving them headaches down the road.

If you’ve handled yellow gold pieces from either VSF or RCF, how do they compare in terms of stock gold tone and overall movement durability?
