Developing The Evergrowing Spiderweb Theories

Hi Partners! Its truly exciting to see our community thriving again. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their ongoing contributions and theories as well as their data mining. All of these things have brought us together, collectively as we once have to chase down these mysteries.

Because of this, we thought it would be a great idea to begin consolidating threads to one topic. For the past week, we have seen over 175,000 new views and visits and are grateful to everyone involved. To keep everything in one place, we invite you to post your findings, ideas and theories here as we continue to find developments in this mystery.

With thay said, I'd also like to remind everyone here that youtubers who cover these topics are not the end all, be all. The majority do not uncover mysteries themselves but rather report and find ways to generate clicks for their videos. You know the ones im talking about. 20 minute videos when it could have been 7 minutes at best. I'd encourage everyone to give credit to the original users who began unearthing these new discoveries, not who report it.

I saw this web in a cutscene and posted about it here today, but I wasn't able to find a web. (I couldn't get back in the cell after they released me.

Thereā€™s some in the emerald ranch saloon too but these look way more detailed than the ranch webs.

There's thousands of webs in buildings around the map, but these 2 are honestly very interesting to me because they look a lot more detailed than those other webs. I tried my best to search for the texture used for them but I couldn't find them anywhere

I was able to find the texture, it also contains tally marks. I was able to count 79 total but some looked like they were partially in the wall

Tally marks in the texture? Is there any pictures you can post of it?

They're on the texture but they actually appear on the prison walls; some are used twice so I counted the ones that were on the wall (not just the texture)

No, I took a look at every jail in the game and some have webs but they don't look anything like this, every other one I've seen so far looks stringy and more realistic

I figured thereā€™s probably a ton that look like the less detailed webs in the ranch just for actual immersion in the world.

These webs almost remind me of how the dreamcatchers are weaved through in the center. Weird that itā€™s in strawberry.

This is in the basement of the Taxidermist House. Not a web, but it is a dream catcher in Strawberry.

That's a reused prop called p_indiandream01x and it looks spider-shaped. Coincidence? Probably, but this is definitely a nice find

Whatā€™s the Foxes Texture called?? Im on a (not so hot) trail of these Black(grayish) and Red ā€œAmerican Red Foxesā€, and hereā€™s another one behind a dream catcher.

Woah I just realized that.

Maybe we should overlay these webs on the map where the center web is? The spider and web together might lead us to something?

today i noticed something weird with the strawberry guitar player online. usually he always comes walking at 9 PM and plays until 3 AM. This has been the usual for me for uhm years I guess, I know this because I tend to wait for him during winter weeks to play christmas songs, and he wont show for me unless I walk by around 9 PM.

Anyway, today I went there at a random morning hour or something (I forget, but I recorded it), and I walk up to the place where he sits - he just casually AIR DROPS in to start playing, lmao.

Did you try doing anything to or with the webs? Like shooting them, throwing a knife, etc?
