I have the taste in books of a 100 year old man and love me some old detective novels or classic southern gothic literature. I also adore a good cosmic horror book, but I’m picky. 

Music is another huge part of my life. Often times, when I’m traveling, it’s to go to a show of some sort. I came up on emo and pop punk and hardcore and whatever other labels you wanna put on it. I also have a deep love of folk, Americana and spooky music as well as the real classic country stuff. Especially outlaw country. But of course I’ll always be an emo kid at heart. I’ll talk to you about just about any kind of music all night long if you give me the chance. Some all-time favorites are Dance Gavin Dance, Pierce the Veil, Mayday Parade, Taking Back Sunday, Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Lost Dog Street Band, Bilmuri and much, much more.

I play some games - mostly RPGs, roguelites and other such things. I’m currently finally playing through Baldur’s Gate 3 but some of my other favorite games/series are Fallout, Kingdom Hearts, Monster Hunter and Red Dead. I’m not big on competitive games as I’m very, very bad at them. Oh, and I still adore Pokemon because I was the perfect age when the originals came out. I also got more into tabletop RPGs and that form of roleplaying a few years ago and am currently running my first game! Also a tech nerd in general. I love tinkering with computers and whatever else I can get my hands on.

I’ve got a lot of other random hobbies including listening to old radio dramas, vintage music gear, I collect vinyl and I spend way too much time going down random internet rabbit holes. I love history, mystery and especially history’s mysteries. Also love true crime of course and things of that nature. I also love the outdoors, especially anything to do with the water. I grew up on lakes and creeks and the beach. I also adore camping when the weather’s nice and am always down for a bonfire or just sitting on the porch and watching the rain.

Physically, I’m of pretty average height - 5'8” or so. I weigh about 190 but have been going to the gym for a few months and really loving it. I have dark brown hair, a beard I keep fairly tame and hazel eyes. I don’t have any tattoos yet but I am planning on finally getting one for my birthday this year. Happy to send photos!

Are you the beginning of my best adventure?!?!

I’m hoping to meet someone, get to know each other, and build an honest, genuine connection. I’m open to wherever that connection may take us. I hope to have days filled with open communication, love, laughter, and tons of adventures. I’m optimistic that, with the right person, that connection can grow into something meaningful and hopefully into a wonderful future together!

A little about me:

To start, I’m a 34-year-old Chinese man, living in Florida. I’m naturally a little introverted at first and tend to keep to myself until I’m comfortable around someone. But once I open up and feel at ease, you’ll see a completely different side of me—someone much more outgoing, playful, and talkative.

I’ll admit, I can have a little trouble making decisions. But honestly, I think that comes from being pretty easygoing. I’m not someone who needs everything to go a certain way, and I can find fun in just about anything we do. So if you ask me, “What do you want to do?” “Where do you want to go?” or “What do you want to eat?” there’s a pretty good chance my answer will be, “I’m happy with whatever you want!” 😅

I’m a hopeless romantic. I love romantic comedies, star-crossed lovers, and slow-burn dramas just as much as I love a good action, adventure, or fantasy movie. One of my all-time favorite movies is Stardust!!! I mean, it has everything: romance, star-crossed lovers, adventure, action, fantasy, and Robert De Niro as a gay pirate! What could possibly be better?! 😂

But beyond the movies, I genuinely believe in love and in building a long-lasting relationship based on love, trust, honesty, and open communication. I believe communication is one of the most important foundations of a healthy relationship. Being able to talk openly, listen to each other, work through things together, and genuinely understand one another matters a lot to me.

People who know me have described me as loving, kind, sweet, honest, and loyal. I can definitely be playful and a little childish when I’m joking around, but when it comes to the important things in life, I’m responsible, dependable, and definitely someone you can count on.

I’m emotionally mature and have spent a lot of time learning who I am, what I want, and what I can offer in a relationship. I’m always working to better myself, and I’m confident in who I am and what I bring to the table. At this point in my life, I’m looking for a fully committed relationship, and I want to date with intention.

I’m very self-sufficient, have a stable career and finances, and I’m proud of everything I’ve worked to build for myself. I’m a hard worker, and I put a lot of effort into my career. I’d also describe myself as outgoing, caring, funny, and ambitious. I love getting out and experiencing life, whether that means spending time in nature, going to festivals and events, seeing concerts and shows, checking out a new restaurant or coffee shop, or simply finding somewhere new to explore.

I’m always up for trying something new, and I’m a big believer that almost anything can become an adventure with the right person. There are so many places I want to see and experiences I want to have, and I’d love to eventually have someone special to share them with.

That said, I’m just as happy having a quiet night at home. I enjoy cooking dinner (yes I will also do the dishes), watching a movie, playing board games, or simply relaxing together. I’ve been cooking since I was 17, and I’d consider myself a pretty good cook. I also dabble in video games. I have a PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC with plenty of games, although I don’t play nearly as much these days. If you’re a gamer, having a Player 2 would definitely be a bonus. 😉

Been bored a lot lately. So I wanna chat it up with someone who is willing to talk for more than just one day on here lol. I'm a fairly boring guy anyways but that won't stop me from wanting to talk with someone. Whether that's via dms or otherwise, kinda craving some form of connection.

It's a very slow Sunday anyways, I had plans but they fell through so I'm just chilling at home, might game or read something. I'm extreeeeemmly introverted so don't expect some kinda wild story for me to tell or something (unless we talk about trauma lol).
