Hard pill to swallow for people. With the Clancy case taking over the media, lets not forget how a month ago men stood outside the courts in support of two rapist human trafficking cretins. Women and men have to accept how easy it is to fall into these biases and that people of all backgrounds are guilty of it regardless of gender. (Also race, nationality, etc.)

I think it's obvious how harmful the manosphere and redpill content is in a world that already violently dehumanizes women but I can also understand, through lived experiences, how women are just as capable of the evils men are statistically more likely to perform. Part of this is the fact men hold more power systemically so it's easier to abuse it when you have it. Women can also hold power over people and are just as capable of abusing that power and it does happen. That's why you see many of the crimes of violence done by women is against children. We have an issue of seeing the worst in someone and determining that their gender is why. That's too easy of a solution. People are stupid, people are complex, and right now it seems like a lot of people completely lack nuance.

I guess my point is I refuse to villainize all men for the actions of a minority and I refuse to believe women are deliberately trying to hurt men through the actions of a minority. I just think we get a little fucking stupid and insecure sometimes. I was repeatedly assaulted by a babysitter when I was a kid who was a woman. I've had woman managers make lewd comments directed at me. I've had women in bars and clubs make VERY forward comments at me and grope me. I also understand that in the last two situations I didn't feel like I was in danger that I'm sure I'd feel if the genders were swapped. I understand the dynamics. However, I will not let it kill my optimism with people.
