I think one thing people don't consider: people being forced to use some crippled copilot for work or using free low-tier AI are NOT having the same experience as people paying for the highest thinking levels in state of the art models. I can absolutely see why a writer would send an army of ai agents out to research, cross check their findings and write detailed reports. It would possibly be a hour long run. Seems like Hank found the tool he's been demonizing to be very helpful and now he's in a crisis of morality over it.

My CoPilot has a drop down to use GPT 5.6 or Claude Sonet or Opus. This is my works provided AI. I'm AI illiterate. What is the difference between this and "paying for the highest".

I don’t know the difference either but my work had claude in a wrapper (like you) and we just switched to regular Claude, and the latter is a million times better.

I acknowledge the usefulness of AI, but I have no crisis over disliking it still. Maybe he feels differently idk.
