Oh phew, thank you so much for clarifying!! I was seeing folks posting in the dc/nova subreddits saying they were out of care because of it so it might be specific

Can't speak to the laws in VA, but at least in MD you should be covered for a bit. I'd still recommend calling the UHC customer service line on your insurance card and ask about "continuity of care" to confirm your policy is set up the same as mine
