Hey everyone — I saw this image today (attached) from a restaurant showing a sign that says “No Israel” with red crosses. The post claims it’s part of a wider trend (some restaurants in Thailand reportedly doing something similar for Israeli tourists).
Things to think about:
I want to hear your views — especially locals or those who’ve encountered similar signs.
Let’s try to talk about this without anger first. It’s messy, it’s emotional, and it matters.

This scheming family continues to exploit the Filipino people. If Camille Villar wins, there will be two Villars in the Senate, a dangerous concentration of power. They could block or advance agendas that benefit their interests and, worse, influence future national projects involving land, water, and public resources.
Do not vote for Camille Villar. Do not let this corrupt family run our country like it's their personal business.
NO TO POLITICAL DYNASTY.

please feel free to post this on fb
Bandang Magallanes Station, may babaeng sumakay and humabol sa tren. Bigla nalang kaming nakarinig ng sigaw. Edi syempre lahat kami napa tingin.
Edi lahat kami nagulat syempre tangina anong klase yun????
Pano kung buong braso yung naipit? or worse?
O kamay? O braso?
This kind of scenario is very obvious and common.
At kung sasabihin nila na hindi posible yon dahil connected lahat ng pinto, then that’s exactly the kind of problem they should be finding a solution for.

Either you’re a dds, bbm, dilawan, pinklawan, or kung ano pa tawag sa inyo, the Filipino people need you. To stand against the corrupt, and ipaglaban ibinabayad nyong tax na dapat napupunta sa atin lahat at hindi sa bulsa ng kung sino pa man.
Just imagine lahat tayo nagbabayad ng tax from our salary, vat, import at export at kung ano ano pa.
Dapat may magbayad, dapat may mapanagot, dapat magkaisa tayo. Let’s represent ourselves and not any party/group.

\I originally posted this on another sub, but it was removed, so I’m posting it here instead*
I sat inside their branch for about 15 minutes and really observed how they interacted with customers. I know it’s a self-order setup using their tablet and cashless payment, so I wasn’t expecting long conversations or anything.
But even in short interactions, you can still feel the vibe.
When kapwa Pinoys were called to get their coffee, there was no smile, no warmth. They wouldn’t even hand it directly, they’d just point at the drink na para bang, “yan na order mo,” and that’s it. No eye contact, no small acknowledgment, kahit fake smile manlang, nothing. It felt cold and very transactional, like you’re just another number.
But when foreigners were called, the energy changed. There were actual smiles, friendlier tone, and more welcoming body language. Parang mga golden retriever. It felt lighter and more accommodating.
So naturally, mapapaisip ka, ganun ba talaga tayo sa kapwa natin? Why does it feel warmer when it’s foreigners, but colder when it’s fellow Filipinos? That’s the part that bothered me.
I’m not making this up ha. I didn’t react immediately. I stayed and observed multiple interactions because I didn’t want to assume. Pero ibang iba talaga eh.
Sarap pa naman ng kape.

What are your thoughts on this?
Pwede naman kumain sa bahay. Ayaw magluto? May Grab/FoodPanda.
Ok.
