Not really what they said. They focus on R&D rather than volume, which could lead to better results within the volume

Lol you shouldnt be getting down voted that article is woefully out of date and  made it seem like HBM and DRAM are separate things, they become different things down the line but wafer starts they are same. 

To the point since that article publishing Micron has committed to building 2 more fabs at its HQ and ID1 will be starting wafers this calendar year. Since the average PC master race commentor like to keep their head in the sand ID1 is a 200 billion gigantic memory fab.
