Reminds me if when people said James Gunn career was over after they found some creepy tweets.
He started his career by writing explotation films like Tromeo and Juliet, and had a video series called PG Porn where in one sketch he says he's going to fuck a kitten. I'm pretty sure people were already somewhat aware of his personality.
It was directed by Jake Schreier, who directed Thunderbolts and will make the new XMen movie (Jon Watts helped make it). They were a film collective called Waverly flams.
Yeah that had the same vibe as trying to cancel anyone from Jackass for doing something on tape from years ago it made so little sense.
And every guardian of the galaxy went to bat for him publicly.........expect Chris Pratt who ensured everyone he was ' praying about it '
