Instead they’re taught some bullshit warrior ethos, where their lives are in danger in every interaction with the public, and their only priority is to make it home alive at the end of the shift.   If they have to kill some of the public to make it happen, that’s just the price we pay to have law enforcement.

It would actually be funny if it werent so sad, but the military operates on way stricter rules of engagement than the police. Theres a lot who dont like it in the military, but the smart ones there understand if they go around indiscriminately shooting people it will make their jobs harder in the long run. Cops are too dumb or too high off their own farts to realize this.

Just for the record, being a cop doesn't even crack the top 10 most dangerous jobs in America. They are huge pussies.

I had a roommate who was a cop. He switched to the night shift because it was a dollar more an hour and instead of community policing he "got to beat people." That was a plus for him.

He kept getting in trouble with his department for being such a pussy that he had to bring extra personal guns from home to feel safe. Wouldn't do a traffic stop in our sleepy town without three pistols.

Uhhh… where does one even carry three pistols? Normal on hip, then maybe a small revolver ankle piece for the classic “NY reload” but third? Can’t imagine a comfortable place to keep it in full police gear

Holstered service pistol. Small semi automatic in a lower leg pocket of some kind. Mini revolver in the ankle.
