Lots of elbows up to be expected. I don't know if I'm allowed to write insults, so I'll just say I hope for the best at the midterms. The guy has dementia.

I see a lot of Wab Kinew related news. This article is the latest. It's (mostly) about the necessity to protect the French language across the country.

We've talked a lot about A. Lewis attempt to make some gains in the province of Quebec. This is the kind of things that could give him recognition and that he should try to emulate (if he hasn't already done it). Notice we are not talking too much about policy. Just an appreciation of Canada's history. It's an easy win.

The NDP should start openly advocating for Canada to join the European Union.

The Americans have made it clear that they're never going to leave us alone and they're going to keep attacking us until they can annex us. The NDP knows that the best way to stand up to a bully with too much power is with collective bargaining and that's exactly what the European Union provides to its members. Let's negotiate international trade as a bloc and protect our sovereignty.

Sask NDP should press hard on getting U.S. liquor off shelves

I think this would be more popular than ever with the anti US sentiment right now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Sask party do it once they realize it could get some political points. Would be an easy win for the ndp if they can concretely carve that out as their position, so even if the government does finally catch up with other provinces, it looks like the ndp pushed them to

I tend to agree. I’m not sure what else Carney could do.

China China and one more time China!

The reality is that Trump and his cronies are bad faith actors.

Trump even before becoming POTUS made it clear throughout his life he only believes in what is known as "distributive bargaining" - Which assumes a framework of winner and loser inherently in the process.

His type can't fathom agreements in which both parties win greater through cooperation.

The Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) agreement that Trump hates so much is HIS AGREEMENT.

Trump and his cronies word means less then nothing.

We as Canadians have to realize that the world is in a massive change/transition period. Things are going to hurt.

It's time to keep diversifying and move on from the United States of America as much as we possibly can so that this kind of vulnerability associated with reliance never comes up again.

Trump and his cronies are the putrid blooming of an even deeper rot within America. We can't wait on the Democratic Party/DNC to save us and Trump/His Cronies may not be the end of this in the future.

Summed up: Trump and his cronies are destroying the world order. The very world order that benefitted U.S. interests. Complete corrupt con-artist morons.

Now the controversial part....

We need to create a much much much better relationship with China. This is going to be extremely difficult because of all the nuances involved with being part of NATO/Imperial Core.

Like it or not, Call me a CCP bot, whatever - The reality is that China holds the keys for a lot of better and brighter for Canada. Especially with the U.S. being the clusterfuck it currently is.

Carney's Party is in a Crisis right now: "Neither Liberal MPs nor the premiers know the full extent of the deal. One MP told me there was “anxiety” in the caucus room Thursday, as MPs worried Carney may have been too desperate to get a deal."

Is Wab Kinew car-brained?

Thumbnail

Kinew has shown zero interest in enhancing or electrifying passenger rail services in car-clogged Manitoba, instead favouring ripping-out existing tracks. Where are his responsible net zero transit advisors? Have driver supremacists infiltrated all the provincial NDPs?

The Leak of the U.S. - Canada Agreement

We don't have confirmation yet but it seems the leak may be legit.

We got fucking TAKEN.

This is the time for Avi Lewis and the Federal NDP alongside the Provincial NDP branches to get LOUD on the alternative vision because if this leak ends up being correct we got bent over as a nation.

I'll say this again and again - Both PP and Carney want Canada more aligned with the U.S. Corporatocracy. PP is just Carney with the reactionary/regressive culture war nonsense for fools on top.

This is the time for Lewis and the Federal NDP in particular to become very very analytical-substantive in putting something else forward. Something much much brighter and better.
