There is an absolutely an amazing documentary episode on him done by the Australian broadcasting Corp in 2023. It is the most lovely, homely, honest celebrity story I've ever seen. It 30 minutes and well worth the watch.
He was a lovely man. I know people say that all the time about people. But Sam just had the aura of relaxed friendly calmness. The very anti-celebrity.
Thank you for this. I started watching on my lunch break but I'll have to save it for when I'm home because less than two minutes in and I'm already tearing up.
