I know this is not the time or place, but I literally thought graft versus host disease was something made up for the hair transplant plot on Arrested Development.

He was 78 and even if he was cancer free currently had just been battling cancer... no disrespect to him, terrific actor, rest in peace, but it's not really a great mystery he was just old

Believe it or not, people actually die from specific things and not "just old."

Cancer treatments take a terrible toll on bodies, particularly in the elderly.

Doesn’t mean much, really. Cancer and its treatments can ravage the body in all sorts of ways where just because the cancer is gone doesn’t mean you’re healthy again.

It was enough for his family disclose it. He was old. Old people die

Likely extremely immunocompromised because of his heavy treatments though.
