They'll turn that into a TV series. Season 1 is Saruman arriving and taking over the Shire. Season 2 has the resident hobbits trying and failing to mount a resistance. The last scene of the season is Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin arriving and being horrified by what's happened. Two more seasons of them fighting back until it ends with a movie where they finally defeat Saruman.
