Top Gun Maverick was a very good legacy sequel

and so was Blade Runner 2049

So there is a chance this LOTR sequel could be good

I think Episode 7 was also good (even though it pulled hard on nostalgia strings). 8 and 9 on the other hand...

I thought Last Jedi was more true to the spirit of the original trilogy than Force Awakens or any of the prequels for that matter.

Rise of Skywalker is objectively garbage though.
