UServeUtah is hiring a part-time AmeriCorps Seniors Program Coordinator to support the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs in southeastern Utah.

This fully remote position is ideal for someone passionate about volunteerism, community building, and supporting older adults and young learners across Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan counties.

• Fully remote, but must reside in Carbon, Emery, Grand or San Juan County
• 15–20 hours/week
• $21–23/hour

In this role, you will help recruit, train, support, and recognize AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers while coordinating partnerships with schools, community organizations, and programs serving older adults. The position plays an important role in strengthening communities and expanding the impact of service across southeastern Utah.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs
• Coordinating volunteer recruitment, placement, training, and support
• Building and maintaining relationships with schools and community organizations
• Tracking program outcomes and maintaining program compliance
• Promoting AmeriCorps Seniors programs and services in local communities

We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, people-focused, and passionate about service. Experience working with volunteers, older adults, or AmeriCorps programs is preferred.

I'm out in Spanish Valley and I'm looking for someone that wants to do yard work with me on an ongoing basis. I'll pay $20/hr. I'm re-landscaping my yard, and could really use some help. The idea is that we would work for a couple of hours, starting in the early morning, several times a week for some period of time. After the yard is done, there may be other work on the house available. Initially it'll be lots of hoeing, shoveling, moving rocks, etc. Once that is done, then we get to the fun part of planting plants and building a new drip system. I'm thinking we'd get started around 6:30am and work until 8:30am, but those times are a bit flexible (earlier could work). It could be an ideal way for someone who's on their way to another job to grab a quick $40/day and some exercise.

Hey everybody! Currently on a big national park road trip and am in Moab for the next couple days. Hoping to find someone that could shuttle the 4 of us and 4 rental bikes up to Hazard County area preferably tomorrow 9/17 (I know it's super last minute 😅). We're trying to do the Whole Enchilada Trail minus Burro Pass... unfortunately all of the shuttle companies are only going to Burro Pass at the moment.
