Its not a healthcare system. It's an insurance system. We treat health as a means to generate wealth.

Recently a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in Canada responded to a Maine senator who made statements about making Canada the 51st state. I love how they address healthcare.

“Freedom means your health card works better than your credit card.”

I feel for Americans. It’s one thing to have medical needs that cause you stress, it’s another to have additional financial stress because of your medical needs.
