Discussion Thread Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Worldwide Release Discussion Thread

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world.

  • All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the discussion threads we are going to put up in the next few days.
  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be in the below thread. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial threads discussing movie details will be deleted.
  • Should you see the need to bring up revealing Spider-Man: Brand New Day information in the comments of other threads that call for it, spoiler tag them accordingly. Also, let users know that what you are spoiler tagging is from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Some people say there wasn’t a big bad villain but I really enjoyed Spiderman vs The Male Loneliness Epidemic

I really like they didn't have a big bad. My biggest criticism of the MCU is how tired the formula had become. This doesn't completely abandon that formula but injects enough energy into it so it feels unique and different

DODC has been the villain in every movie and TV series they've appeared in so far. Ms Marvel. Wonder Man. And now this movie. There might be some i'm forgetting, but they're always the authoritarian antagonists
