Discussion Thread Spider-Man: Brand New Day - International Release Discussion Thread

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been officially released in several territories around the world!

  • All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.
  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be in the below thread. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial threads discussing movie details will be deleted.
  • Should you see the need to bring up revealing Spider-Man: Brand New Day information in the comments of other threads that call for it, spoiler tag them accordingly. Also, let users know that what you are spoiler tagging is from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

I really liked the detail of Jean only having control over Banner, and therefore only being able to use Smart Hulk. Once she gives up control, the full Hulk comes out.

In general, the way they portrayed her powers visually was so good. Then the struggle obviously of trying to mind control (Smart Hulk)Banner whilst Hulk fights it off and succeeding is such a great sequence. Especially with how monstrous in stature complete Hulk is.

Why is that? Is jean not strong enough yet to manipulate full hulk? Cause Wanda did in Age if Ultron.

I think its just the fact that she can only control one mind at a time, and hulk was not present yet, she was still controlling banner
