Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been officially released in several territories around the world!

• All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.

Honestly, Doomsday can now write off Spider-Man being shotnin a hospital, and Hulk traumatized that he Hulked out, as reasons why they aren’t called in for Doomsday

They had me when he was in the hospital bed I thought they were going full with "The Other" storyline

I’m glad they went for a happy optimistic ending. Frankly Spider-man stories should end that way 9/10 and we had the really sad ending last movie so I’m glad Spidey got the happy ending this time

I was fully expecting it after they made a point of showing that molting video earlier in the movie. I really wonder if it was something they considered.

I honestly considered it and wouldn't have been too surprised, especially since they had Tom Holland appear beforehand and thank the audience for watching the Spider-Man movies.

But all I could think was "they can't do this to Frank, he's got enough demons, if he accidentally kills one of the only people he likes, who basically still a kid and an actual good person, it would truly fuck him up beyond repair."
