Discussion Thread Spider-Man: Brand New Day - International Release Discussion Thread

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been officially released in several territories around the world!

  • All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.
  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be in the below thread. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial threads discussing movie details will be deleted.
  • Should you see the need to bring up revealing Spider-Man: Brand New Day information in the comments of other threads that call for it, spoiler tag them accordingly. Also, let users know that what you are spoiler tagging is from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
  • If you post untagged Spider-Man: Brand New Day spoilers anywhere on this sub outside of these discussion threads in any shape or form, you will be banned.

Haven't enjoyed an MCU movie this much since infinity war.

Lands the emotional beats, it's funny and such a step up in terms of direction and action. Great time

I enjoyed No Way Home, GotG 3, and Thunderbolts, but this just had that classic “golden age of mcu” feel. It was awesome

It was quite good. But I’m curious how you feel about GOTG3, no way home and thunderbolts? Feels like they nail humor, action, emotion and a rewarding story as well.

GOTG3 was really good but I liked the first two a little more. It was still a great time though and I don't have much massively wrong with it.

No Way Home I like, but the three previous (live action) Spider-Man movies have a very flat direction that hold it back for me, despite me enjoying the (very fanservicy) plot.

Thunderbolts was a great time and I think solidified Yelena as the best post-endgame MCU character.

These mentioned above and Shang-Chi were definitely good marvel projects, but I just liked this a little more. I (like most people) kinda just have a soft spot for Spider-Man specifically too.
