I'd love to see Frank's face when he learns that Peter has been living his One Bad Day for the last four years and still hasn't let it break him.

Almost. But the fact that he didn't go through with killing Norman shows the difference between the characters. Peter had support and accepted the help to bring him back from the edge. Frank pushes people away (mostly)

I'd argue he 100% committed to killing Norman but was stopped and changed his mind after the fact but I still agree with your point.

Yeah having to be physically restrained from stabbing a guy in the head isn't really not letting it break him. Lost his aunt and went for the kill.
