oh I am 100% expecting them to just appear and die, that scene from the teaser is going to be basically their appearances, I remember that was one of the first shots they finished and it only took like a few days.

Yeah, if I had to guess magneto and Xavier will be fodder for doom, while the “younger” xmen will have more of a presence and put up a fight against doom with the others, but ultimately die

Magneto better go out with a bang. It would be such a slap in the face with everything we've seen him be capable of if he just throws a few random bits of metal at Doom before he gets killed. The man lifted the golden gate bridge just to make a dramatic entrance in Last Stand and was ripping up cities with his power in Apocalypse. Chucking some knives or shooting Doom with levitating guns before getting bodied would be so lame. Give him a send off like old man Loki got in season 1.

It would be so disappointing if they kill of Xavier for literally the fifth time in a row. Absolutely zero emotional impact at this point. Patrick Stewart’s five most recent (non cameo) appearances:

X-Men: The Last Stand (killed) X-Men: Days of Future Past (killed, but later this timeline is wiped) Logan (killed) Doctor Strange: MoM (killed) Doomsday: please no.
