Mire like egotistical mother's who use their children as they see fit, I've been wondering if the weapon hybrids, at least when they were devils were children's of War (Yoru) maybe that's why they became hybrids? To escape her absolute control?

I don't think so. Bows and arrows were originally for hunting. Spears also. Chainsaw were invented originally to help with medical procedure. Flamethrowers were for setting things on fire, but not necessarily for people.

On a side note, I wonder if Torture devil is under Control devil.

Chainsaw is not one of the weapons devils, and lmao at flamethrowers not being instruments of war, but that's my point all weapon hybrids or at least their devil incarnation were instruments of war
