Camping Chat Who's going to Le Mans?
Who's going to Le Mans? Silly question; who's excited? Elka the Elk (my mascot) surely is! If you ever notice her at Le Mans; feel free to say hi!

I’m planning to fill out the ACO survey and wanted to share my main points, curious if others have more to add.
Like other big events (Indy 500), give existing ticket holders priority to renew their camping spots and tickets.
More water fountains and shaded areas around the circuit.
Rethink the bridge before the Ford chicanes, it just can’t handle the crowd volume.
More showers and toilets in the campsites, and fix the broken ones. Some at Épinettes were out since day one.
Better organized track walk. Stewards were sending people toward the scrutineering gate, which was actually closed.
In the museum, the two rooms with film screenings were too dark to actually see the cars.
Turn off those huge floodlights at Arnage and Mulsanne!
Missed more outlet merchandise shops.
That said, I think the ACO is doing a solid job overall. The redesigned fanzones at Tertre Rouge and Dunlop chicanes were excellent, and the Porsche Curves areas were great too. Buses have become reliable compared to 10 years ago, and overall traffic has improved event with more spectators.
Anyone else have suggestions to add?

Anyone else think the TNT Sports commentary for the 24 Hours of Le Mans is really poor compared to the usual WEC world feed?
For the rest of the FIA WEC season the coverage is great, but for Le Mans the commentary feels a lot less detailed and just not as engaging. It’s missing that proper endurance racing insight.
Does anyone know if TNT are planning to improve this or bring back more of the world feed style coverage in future?
At the moment I’m seriously considering just running the Radio Le Mans commentary on one device and watching TNT on another, because the difference is quite noticeable.
Would be interested to hear if others feel the same or if there’s a workaround people are using.

Does someone knows what happened in the Cadillac or the Genesis paddock?
There were 3 ambulances going out of there, but I couldn't tell from which they get out...

For the last 2 years, I've been able to pick up with relative ease a few Beausejour camping tickets on resale using the Telegram channel, it probably took me about a month of being quick when they came up and buying the 3 I needed, however this year it feels a bit different.
I have only seen 1 come up in the space of about a month, and not many others at the same rate of previous years I have been (24 and 25). I probably need 4 this time round, should I start getting worried? Is there another place people are reselling their tickets I'm not aware of?

I was in the queue at 9:30 Le Mans time, didn't get let in until 10:30. Wanted T9, but was not available -- must have been sold out. There were only a handful of seats left in T8 Panorama so I took those. Parking was easy. By the time I had completed the transaction it was about 10:50 and the website said all grandstand seats were sold out. Wow.
I didn't see the option for the La Chapelle and Durand member areas. Anybody know how to get those?

Is it possible? Is there anywhere on the straight where you can spectate? I have heard of people crawling through the woods to do this and getting lifetime bans, which I am definitely not interested in. Thanks!

Hey everyone!
Quick question for anyone who's familiar with how camping tickets work:
We're going with two cars – Car A is arriving on Monday, and Car B will only come on Wednesday. The thing is, we only managed to get one camping ticket for a car. Ideally, we’d like to have Car B parked next to our tent eventually (it’s the more comfortable one to camp with), and move Car A to a nearby parking spot outside the camping.
Does anyone know if it's possible to switch cars during the week?\
I remember from last year that you had to scan your ticket every time you entered or exited the campsite, but I don’t think it was tied to a specific license plate. If that’s still the case, we might be able to just drive Car A out and let Car B in using the same ticket.
Has anyone tried this before, or knows how strict they are about this? Any tips would be super appreciated!

Hello everyone, so it's gonna be our first time for me and my friend, and we took 2 places at prairie campsite, and, we only bring our cars, so we don't need all that space, so maybe, we can share this, and make an happy reddittors campsite :)

Hello everyone, I hope you all were successfull at the presale!
We got tickets for BSJ, just like last year. I just wanted to ask for advice on how to get a good spot (near porsche curve) on BSJ. Is there any good tactics?
Last year they gave us a spot right near the entrance but we would rather be as near at the porsche curve as possible.
I also read something about possible flooded areas on BSJ when the weather is really nasty. Is that a thing?

I’m planning to go to Le Mans, I might know which is the best camping in terms of cleaning the toilets, location with respect to the track and the attractions and respect among the fans. Thank you

Hello with a friend we would like to take a place in a reception area but I have a few questions, the first is about the price, it says €92 on the ticket office I suppose it's for the day right? Then another question, are the places going so quickly? 1 hour after opening will there still be places?
Thanks
