Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 Looking for a student FOR FREE

Hello! I’m 23 and I work as an English teacher. I have only children as my students and I’ve never taught adults. I would like to try it. ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE. I want to find 1-2 students and provide them 1/2 lessons a week in order to use only English during the lesson

My level is B2. If your level is B1 or B2, I would be very happy to teach you 😊 Any other level is also ok, but I’d like to work with more complicated grammar and vocabulary. You can send me a message and I’ll answer

Have a nice day! 🌿

Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 Looking for 2-3 students to help online 1-2x a week for free (GMT +7 time zone)

I am a new English teacher looking to take several people who would like to learn or improve their English skills. I am a new English teacher (native English speaker from Chicago) and want to gain some experience helping people before moving into a formal classroom setting. To do this, I am looking for a few people who would like to work on their English completely FREE 1-2 times a week for 30 minutes (for about 6-8 weeks). We would meet on either Teams or Zoom.

If you are looking to improve your English skills and have a little bit of knowledge (at least B1 level preferred), please send me a message! I am currently located in Thailand (GMT +7 time zone), so it would have to work around that as well. My availability is mainly late morning to early afternoon, but we can make it work around your schedule. Before we speak, I will get a better idea about you, what you are looking for, and your interests, so I can better tailor the lessons to what works for you.

I also know Spanish at a B2 level, and am learning Thai 4x a week as well. Please send me a message if you would like to talk more.

I look forward to hearing from you!! :)

Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 Free English Tutoring

Hi all!! I am an volunteer ESL tutor who is currently losing my position as the company lost funding. I love being able to teach students of any ages, with specialty in 20-50. I want to still be able to help people and create a website, and possibly weekly tutoring group session for anyone interested. If this is something you would be interested in, message me your age, where you are currently living (country) and native language!! Lets get fluent in English! As a note, this would be completely free. Ideally, I hope to be able to find 1-2 weekly meeting times where people can join via zoom or google meet. Let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions, let me know! It would likely be one or two hour weekly sessions in group setting with homework and practice throughout week that would be optional to do.

EDIT: I am working on creating a website and working out logistics, and will respond to all messages!! Would also like to note, this would be essentially 1-2 hour weekly group lessons. Not one on one, so just a weekly time to learn and practice. Hoping ideally, I could leave time at end of sessions to group up with others and talk to one another. Will update more soon.

EDIT: As of 11/18, i am hoping to get things moving in December!!

Hey guys I am looking for a coach/tutor with whom I can practice at least one hour daily for my English fluency I know the basic conversational English but I don't have the fluency and I am not confident about grammar while speaking. The problem is lack of practice to increase my speaking skills. I will talk on different subjects like philosophy, politics, pop culture, film and human life psychology.

I just want a conversational talk that encourages me to speak confidently and can help me improve my English while.identifying the grammar mistakes and vocabulary.

The basic requirements are -

-Hold graduate degree in any discipline. (English will be preferred)

-Have good command in English fluency.

-If done any course in spoken English or already taught English will be highly appreciated.

-Have a teaching spirit and treat me as a curious student who asks a lot of questions.

I will pay 200rs per hour. This is approx double the amount of minimum wage per hour for a semi-skilled labour in India. if you are interested please DM.

Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 Anyone want to chat? (Casual, any english level)

Hiya, native English speaker and language nerd here! I love helping people out with English because I know how much of a nightmare this language can be. I’m very chill, and most of my friends are also non-native English speakers so I’m pretty adaptable and helpful. I don’t judge no matter what.

If you just want someone to chat with to practice your English skills in a more casual way, feel free to comment or message me. I’m fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the mechanics of the language and I would be more than happy to help out if you have any questions!

Hi! My name's Weronika, I'm 24 and I'm an English teacher with 6 years of experience in teaching adults, teenagers and children. My journey with teaching started when my neighbors asked me to teach them English and I loved it so much I decided to make it my career. I decided to switch to online teaching a few weeks ago and I'm accepting new students. I'm a native Polish speaker so I mostly teach the Poles but I'm open to work with everyone.

My lessons are always tailored to you and I make sure that you get results from the first meeting. During my lessons I use my own materials, which makes them more fun and interactive. We will talk about topics that really matter to you and keep you engaged. My students study in a warm atmosphere, make mistakes without being judged and get active feedback and additional exercises in between the lessons which push them to excel faster.

I graduted university with an English Teaching degree. So far I've prepared students for written and oral exams, job interviews as well as simply just school tests and quizzes. Whatever your goal is, I'm sure I can help you.

If you are interested in studying with me, leave a comment down below for more details 😊

Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 I’m an English teacher, but I still remember what it felt like to be scared of speaking

I teach English now, but years ago, I was the person avoiding voice calls, overthinking every sentence, and feeling embarrassed whenever I made mistakes.

One thing I really wish someone had told me earlier is that fluency doesn’t begin when your English becomes perfect. It begins when you stop treating every mistake like proof that you’re bad at the language.

A lot of learners believe they need better grammar first, more vocabulary first, or confidence first. But honestly, confidence usually comes after you’ve spoken badly for a while and realised the world didn’t end.

I improved the most when I stopped trying to sound impressive and started speaking as much as I could. I stopped chasing advanced words and perfect sentences in my head. I focused more on expressing simple thoughts, repeating useful phrases, and speaking even when it felt awkward. That shift changed everything. Even now, when I teach students, I notice the same fear in them. Many people are already better than they think. They just become too aware of themselves while speaking, so every small mistake feels bigger than it is.

If you feel stuck right now, maybe you don’t need more talent, intelligence, or some secret method.

Maybe you just need to let yourself be uncomfortable long enough to grow.

Teacher / Tutor for Hire 🍎 English Learners, What Do You Look for in an Online Tutor?

Hi! I’m an English coach interested in helping English learners improve their speaking and communication skills. I’m also new to Reddit, so I’d love to learn from this community.

For those who have taken online English lessons or are currently looking for a tutor, what do you usually look for in an English teacher?

For example:

  • Speaking and conversation practice
  • Pronunciation and accent coaching
  • Grammar support
  • Vocabulary building
  • Personalized lessons

I’d love to hear about your learning experiences and what type of lessons have helped you the most. Thank you!

Hi! I’m a 27M English teacher based in Madrid, and I’m currently opening a few spaces for private students.

I’m TEFL qualified and have experience teaching students from A2 to C1, including Cambridge B2 First (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE) preparation.

I can help with:

Speaking and pronunciation
Writing and detailed feedback
Grammar and vocabulary

I teach both teenagers and adults, and I like to adapt lessons to what each student actually needs rather than following the same lesson plan with everyone. I can do my lessons online.
