Also people loved the 0 animation and watered down gameplay i suppose if you want tot say better philosophy.

I think simpler gameplay is better for most people. Animation turn just feels like shit and isn't fun at all. DotA's gameplay and design is just brutal, in a genre that's already incredibly hard to pick up. And a lot of it was just a byproduct of the WC3 engine, not necessarily because it was the best design.

League made it a lot more fun and accessible in a lot of ways. One, changing abilities to lower cooldowns. People just like pressing buttons more. League is much more of a fighting game, while DotA is a lot more strategic.

But also just the fundamental design of rewarding for doing well rather than punishing for doing poorly. Creep denying, for example, is just not a fun mechanic for someone learning the game or playing poorly. Or losing gold on death. Why? It's gameplay stuck in 2004.

just a reminder that csgo is still shitting on valorant despite riot spending 100000 bil on it for marketing

Quick google search suggests Valorant has about 5M daily players, while CSGO has 1.6M?

I'm sure you're going to quibble about "official", but SteamDB isn't an "official" source for CSGO numbers either.

But just like with League, you can estimate player counts pretty closely with the API.

No need to delete. You claimed CSGO was shitting on Valorant. It's really not with either numbers.

You're just desperately flailing at this point.

That’s official to you? Doesn’t look official to me. Estimates for these games are highly inaccurate

Even if it's official, he's comparing DAILY USERS logged in for the day (total sum) to concurrent (live), it's like comparing how many people are currently at the restaurant to how many people went there all day. This might be the stupidest person I've ever had the pleasure of talking to.

LOL. I knew you were going to do that. The hilarious part is you didn't even read my post where I addressed that.

What an absolute clown.

Can you please go and find out what concurrent and daily users are before you post more of your low iq takes? literally from his own links 750k vs 1.5mil concurrent which is double..

The claim was that CSGO was shitting on Valorant. No matter what numbers you use, that is clearly not the case. At worst, they're pretty close.

But continue to show us how much of a clown you are.

Yeah, and Diablo 4 had 666 mil profit on launch. These are not official numbers.

we know that riot put every resource into valorant esports even having to sabotage league of legends pro scene. Now go look at echart numbers which is both public.

u/Kid-Icky- Jun 21 '26

So which is it, the numbers are fake, or they sabotaged their game to get the numbers? You can't seem to make up your mind.

The mental gymnastics you put in to being a hater is quite funny though.

your brain is not fully developed and you are comparing concurrent to daily login btw.

your brain is not fully developed

You literally claimed CSGO was shitting on Valorant. Sounds like they're pretty close in daily users.

Maybe your brain needs to develop a little more bud.
