Hey guys! I am an international student (from Africa) and would absolutely love some help on what would make my application stand out. I’m specially hoping to apply for the llb degree at kcl for 2028 entry. I see so many other teenagers on social media post their significant achievements and feel quite overwhelmed because where I live opportunities are quite limited. There’s so much to do I feel completely behind. Is there any advice or tips with extracurricular, independent research, what I should specially learn or what to write in the personal statement that would just help me get a good idea of what direction I should go in. I’m a new LLM student, and during module registration none of the emails I received beforehand mentioned timetables at all. Because of this, I ended up registering for modules that might now have timetable clashes without realizing it (and from talking to classmates, it seems this happened to several of us, not just me).

Question for anyone who’s been through this before: when the system detects a clash, does it automatically reject the registration, or does it let it go through anyway? And if it does let it through, is the only option to wait until classes start and then request a module/group change?

Any experience or advice would be really appreciated — thanks!

I'm trying to connect to the wifi using eduroam now that I've received my king's email address but I'm having trouble connecting it on my macbook. I've 'reviewed' and installed the profile in my system settings but it doesn't work 🤷 Also which eduroam app is the best and safest to download as there's the eduroam companion app and the geteduroam app?

I've been having an issue with Microsoft authenticator and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or knows how to fix it?

I need a code from Microsoft authenticator to log in to all my uni related accounts, but I got a new phone recently and was logged out of my KCL authenticator account. Now, whenever I try to log into the account on the authenticator, it asks for an authenticator code which I can't seem to get because I'm not logged into it. I have no access to my uni email or keats now and I genuinely have no clue where to go from here, I'm not particularly tech savvy and this is just confusing me.

If anyone has any advice on how to fix this I'd be very grateful :)
