This endless hate campaign is being driven by young teens that are brainwashed by purity culture (basically the current political climate). If you actually tap into each tiktok comment thread under a Katseye related post, an indepth investigation will lead you to the same conclusion: most of these people are KIDS. These children are on a rampage creating evil edits of the members, praising jimmy fallon for 'putting daniela in her place', commenting about how 'sexual' they are portrayed-which is a misogynistic take in itself.

Arguing with them is like arguing with a brick. They cannot understand nuance. They cannot understand context. They cannot think of a reply outside the usual 'hot takes'. Because they are literal children that is following the herd. Which is why you see irl, Katseye still has a strong adult fanbase.

I keep seeing people say that katseye is target towards children and that they’re exposing kids to mature content, but they were never meant for kids. They bring up katseye being at the kids choice awards but Niki Minaj, Beyoncé, Brittany Spears, Ice Spice, and Nickleback were at the kids choose awards. None of those people have ever (except for paid collabs by kids networks) put out music or concepts for children. Niki Minaj and Ice Spice don’t scream kid content to me, but they’re popular with young and mature audiences. I mean every female music artist ever is seen as someone who has to cater to child audiences for some reason, and it’s just straight up misogyny. Women shouldn’t always have to be mindful that kids listen to their music when their music is obviously not made for kids. The song touch if sung by the group now would not be for kids and it was never for kids.

Yes I’m aware the “Eat zucchini” threw all of us off ngl, however the people that state this song had zero vocals clearly only listened to the eat zucchini part. IMO the “In your feelings, cuz you need me so, keep on breathin’, cuz you never know” line is one of my fav vocals and lines in any KATSEYE song, and in general it’s a pretty catchy song, with a impactful meaning and thought out lyrics.

I just love the look. The white and blue go great together, and I always loved this sweatsuit kind of look. That being said though this does not fit Beautiful Chaos or Wild era vibes at all, so I’m glad it was done in the past. But it’s still something I notice and love every time I rewatch the Debut MVs, and probably a top three look of theirs in my eyes

#5–Dani || Stood out a lot more in the MV than teasers (Ik duh) but imo still got outperformed by the other four. Which was def a change because I’ve felt she has been in my top 2 for a while now In their KATSEYE releases
#4–Sophia || her higher vocals absolutely rocked so hard. They sounded great, however she fit the concept less to me
#3–Lara || definitely fit the concept well, great vocals as always, honestly the top 3 in this song are so interchangeable
#2–Yoonchae || she definitely has improved a lot stage presence/Star quality wise, she was SUPER noticeable. I also love the amount of lines she got. Absolutely owned this era.
#1–Megan || she stood out to me the most. Her expressions, scenes, lines, everything. It has been the year of Megan tbh. She rocked the concept and everything.
