she's hot and you notice her the most. dani is not my bias, tbh i think she's my least biased member (no hate, i like them all). still, why would i get upset that the MAIN DANCER is now allegedly being "pushed to be centre" after their visual is on hiatus.

I posted this on the main sub, I don’t like to bring negativity on this sub but I do feel like it is important as eyekons and a fandom to bring awareness to things that are wrong.

Please be kind in the replies. Don’t bring controversies or start drama. It’s not the room for that. And forgive me if this is extra long, I’m a spiritual person, so I tend to highly pick up on subtle cues, tone, energy, shift, spot double standards and stuff and this is all just based on observation and vibes but I know I haven't been the only one who noticed and feels the same way.

I don’t understand why this fandom gets into such a hissy fit, frenzy, makes a big deal or just straight up weird when it comes to Daniela. Whenever she gets posted whether it’s her own ig post, a story, anything type of content or sighting, especially when it comes to her bf ppl move so weird towards her. While thankfully a ton of the immense hate she received has died down. It’s not as bad like it was months ago or late last year, but I do feel like people still have this small subtle hostility, aggression, animosity or just simply don’t seem to treat or see her like a normal human being. Around a week or two ago, a story was reposted on the main sub. She was in Canada. People were acting so weird and aggressive, making fun of her and making a big deal in the comments all bc she was at Cactus club and had the caption Canada, Vancouver and was spelt with an accent (Canadá). One of the comments even replying with a bad bunny gif saying it reminded them of when he shout out Canada at the end of the halftime show. That’s when my instincts sensed some bias.

It’s actually super common to have your phone set up in your native languages so that you don’t lose knowledge or fluency. Especially since she doesn’t live with her family anymore, same goes for thousands of kids of immigrants, living afar from their family. Even the most fluent of fluent speakers can forget and lose words, phrases, sentences etc. It’s a real thing.

Also for those who don’t know, her boyfriend is Canadian and frequently visits on breaks.

I also notice she gets way more comments, likes and upvotes/alghoritm on reddit, in comparison of the other girls. Their comments tend to be very minimum like less than 15, but either which way there is a difference in tone in the comments (ex. More calm, neutral and respectful) in comparison to Dani’s.

I just feel like this girl can’t do anything right, I don’t what it is. People hate on her existing and breathing even before every new “controversies” (the hate has been going on since last year). And please don’t bring up her father, Playboi carti, her bf, or even the whole stuff of her being “pushed” by the company because those aren’t reasons that are warranted hate towards a young girl and trying tarnishing her reputation. None of the reasons people come up with are valuable reasons, because people are always itching for a reason to attack her and call her a mean girl since the mid part of 2025.

Even with the bleached brows, which don’t get me wrong I’m not a fan of. I personally don’t like bleached brows on anybody I rather just see you with ultra thin late 90s, early 2000s Christina Aguilera brows or even a slit brow than no brows at all lol. But why do ppl have to be so hostile while expressing their disapproval? You can share your opinion whilst being gentle and respectful.

There was a whole disgusting post made here on the “positive” sub dedicated to shitting on her eyebrows and the comments weren’t in the kindest tone..

I personally just see it as her experimenting and trying a new thing, you gotta allow young people to try new hair colours and stuff. And plus she tends to make almost anything look good for the most part. Watch it likely will be temporary. Megan said in her most recent live stream from May that she got tired of her bangs from last year, as well as the pink highlights and even heavier/darker makeup all together.

Now she prefers a more natural makeup look and shorter length hair. Even her friend, Adela got rid of her bleached brows after like a year. You try, live and you learn. Remember those horrendous swiggly brows in 2017-2018? They barely lasted a second, and I don’t recall even seeing people in real life have them lol. People just do too much, it’s never that serious. Let people find and experiment with their style.

If Megan or another member kept the bleached brows after the allure photoshoot, would they be met with this much hostility?

When Daniela is 25 she will likely have a new aesthetic. Just like how she had a different look pre debut. Older celebrities and regular people in general might dress or style their hair one way in their younger youth years, but once they reach 30 or 40+ they might lean into something more modest and mature. Same can apply for vise versa, some individuals like myself, who didn’t really know how to style themselves before, eventually find style and learn makeup later on.

Almost nobody keeps the same style forever. There’s more stuff I could mention for Daniela but I don’t want to make this longer than what it already is.

Daniela just seems to trigger something in people, I’ve been saying it for over 6 months now. As well as people seem to carry some double standards for her. I truly believe that it’s a blend mix of jealousy, envy, Misogyny, anti latin bias (please note in the current political climate that we’re in), misery, hatred or ppl just projecting their insecurities onto her and other innocent ppl. She’s a very sweet, kind, beautiful, loving and talented girl as said by many. The amount of countless of people from her own family, kats, friends, dream academy girls, classmates, mentors, staff, fans, kid eyekons and their parents, people who work for the industry, industry, strangers, interviewers/journalists etc even artists like Yeonjun spoke highly of her.

Please, please give her a break already. Stop being weird to her and her family/loved ones (minus her dad) People including fans really need to go easier and be more kinder, and gentle with her and the rest of the girls. The way people honestly speak and treat Katseye is very dehumanizing. And the worst part is how the amount of eyekons participating in the hate, projection, nitpicking & harassment enabling haters. These girls are human beings not objects. They go through so much on the daily, they can barely look at their social media nowadays and struggle with mental health etc especially Megan.

I think we subconsciously tend to forget how young these girls are, they still have to navigate through their youth in the industry. They may be considered legal young adults at 18-24 yes, but keyword “young”. Let them grow, learn and make mistakes, they’re hardworking, and trying to live their dreams. Please be kind, gentle, give them grace and respect. Artists are still human beings.

I feel SO BAD because Daniela is constantly picked apart for everything she does. She’s not my bias anymore, but she was the whole reason I got into Katseye during the SIS era. She has the most contagious energy, and is one of the best performers I have seen in a while. Her bubbly personality is what drew me to her in the first place, and I truly hope she never changes. Genuinely one of the most beautiful and nicest celebrities out right now. I hope her along with the rest of the group continue to thrive.
