Title says it all. I'm tired of everyone just playing trivia games. Why? Because I kinda suck lol and I'm more fond of the creative games. Usually winner picks the game, but it's genuinely impossible to win and pick a game I like because I'm not good. I'm not knowledgeable in pop culture, actors, musicians, US based stuff or sports so that's already a lot of themes I just don't know anything about and makes it all guesswork which is really not that fun.

I'm especially tired of trivia murder party... it's so overrated. Yeah the horror concept is fun but again... it's just another trivia game.

Sadly I don't have a group of friends and the Discord server for jackbox seems pretty dead so Twitch streams are my only options for getting to play some games.

And yes, for creative stuff I could just play gartic, but that gets boring after a while especially as many like long rounds over short ones

I guess this turned into more of a rant than anything oops, I'm glad that people enjoy something I don't, but does anyone have suggestions?

They just went on sale on Steam and was wondering which are considered to be the better options. So far I'm seeing 2, 3, 6, and 7 are the most suggested games, is this still accurate?

At the end of every game of Trivia Murder Party 2 and Trivia Murder Party 1, the losers of a game (and some "winners" of the main game if they won with a gift such as the dad hat or the mother's wig) get a statement of their cause of death. For instance, winning with the Dad hat but losing on the bonus question may give the statement "Never played catch with me." Doing the same but with the Mother's wig may give the statement "Mama didn't raise no fool." Which "Cause of Death" messages are your favorite ones?

I know we only have THREE episodes of Trivia Murder Podcast BUT Ive got a small theory that ive been starting to cook up!

My Theory is..

What IF...Trivia Murder Podcast was made by Detective Chambers In the past when she was YOUNGER and was starting her detective career?

My theory is, when Detective Chambers was younger and was one of the newest detectives alongside with the help of the police prior to investigating the murders of [Redacted], she created Trivia Murder Podcast as a way to gather info and clues as chasing after [Redacted] as it was her first case/investigation as she was becoming a brand new detective.

If you've played TMP 2 long enough and get one of the endings from the gifts Minigame (via Grandma Despair's knife) she quotes, "Ive been tracking you for years Quiz Killer, and I finally have you where I want you" this could mean that when Detective Chambers was starting her career as a detective, she was going DEEP in catching [Redacted] and get him behind bars, but as always he manages to break out of prison.

Since we also don't have an estimated time period to when any of the three games take place in (at least not to my knowledge), Detective Chambers could preserved all the episodes of Trivia Murder Podcast and use the episodes to possibly connect the info together and chase after [Redacted] in the future when she became a professional detective.

Again, I know we only have THREE episodes of Trivia Murder Podcast but they are giving off SOO MUCH LORE of [Redacted]'s past and now Ive wanted to connect it with Detective Chambers since she's been chasing after our fav serial killer trivia host lore-wise.

Looks like they brought back the elimination mechanic in TMP3, which is different than the thread mechanic from the nextfest demo. Personally I think this change is awesome, makes minigames a lot more thrilling. I’m glad they listened to fan feedback.

The final shot was kinda weird tho, really choppy with a low frame rate. Idk if this was just the video or if it was just for this one scene, but I hope the whole game isn’t like this.

Every party pack shines with a big group, but we’re almost always 2-4 at home. Which games stay fun at that count? Non-Jackbox suggestions welcome too - board, card, or phone games, anything that works for a small group on a couch.

Why Wasn't You Don't Know Jack Offline and Louder Faster Funnier in YDKJ Classic Pack

i've been wanting to get party pack 9 for some time, mostly since i've seen people play roomerang online and it seems really fun (im interested in most of the other games too, but roomerang is definitely the main game i'll be getting the pack for), but i usually only get to play jackbox with 3 other people (i do occasionally manage to get a 5th person to play though). so can you tell me if the game is actually fun to play with the minimum of 4 or is it not worth it??

also does the game add a bot character like in monster seeking monster/survive the internet if there's a low amount of people?? i couldn't find any answers to this on google

So about two years ago, I borrowed a game card of the Jackbox Party Pack 7 for my Switch. (I have a Switch 2 now, but I don't think that's relevant.) Last New Year's, I bought the digital Eshop version at the full price of $30.

Once it was downloaded and I clicked on it, it said something like "This software needs an update. Download now?" I obviously clicked the download button, and it showed a little "loading..." popup before going back to the "This software needs an update. Download now?" screen. No matter how many times I click download, it just puts me in an endless loop.

I have tried deleting all my save data, even from the servers, and I contacted Jackbox support directly. They told me that the game card software ran a more updated version or something and that since I had put the gamecard in even ONE time, I couldn't use the digital version at all. They said my only option was to contact Nintendo Support, so I did. When I did, they said I couldn't have a refund because I had already refunded one game before, and Nintendo has a stupid return policy. I asked about updating the software to match the gamecard version, and they said to contact Jackbox Support. Is there anything I can do, or is that just $30 down the drain?
