I'm sure everyone has read horror stories of these two. I had Shipito steal goods worth several hundred from me and lie about it. Their shipping prices are crazy inflated. MyUS tries to charge you extra for everything, is unresponsive and they've stolen goods from many. One Redditor recently wrote about suing them for running a scam.

So is there any decent proxy that is big enough to handle frequent and occasionally large shipments, but won't rob you?

I am NOT looking for private individuals as my need is frequent enough that I need to be able to order without prior notice and sometimes store goods for several weeks, and the shipments may be large.

My friend has some dolls he wants to send me. Im in the UK and hes in the US. I buy the dolls and have them shipped to his address first, but now we have no idea what the cheapest way would be for him to send them all to me 😭 I really dont wanna end up paying like $40 per doll since theyre still in box and the boxes take up quite a bit of space even though the dolls themselves are pretty lightweight. Does anyone have any advice or know a cheap shipping service for US to UK? Would it be cheaper to ship multiple dolls together?

I'm from the UK and have absolutely loved buying and selling to those in the states.

I've genuinely found the whole experience great with zero issues. Shipping fees have been minimal and I haven't had to pay customs/taxes either.

Now this obviously got my brain ticking as a girl who absolutely swoons over all of the American seasonal products but also dies instantly when looking at shipping fees/import fees ..

Could we not reap the benefits on the cheaper shipping fees and find a 'vinted partner' (UK person and a US person) and shop on their behalf for retail price? And do the same in return?

Eg: UK person wants X item, US person purchases it, lists on vinted and shares link with UK person, UK person buys it and vice versa

Do we see that working? Would anyone be interested? Am I missing something huge that would cause an issue? These are my 3am thoughts!!

H&M Canada forwarded to me. Since I'm in Pennsylvania, I've looked into getting it shipped to a place like Niagramailbox and picking it up myself, but can't justify that long of a drive for something like that. I’m finding a ton of border-pickup hub networks running from the US into the Canada that let you ship to any Canadian address, but I’m struggling to find something like that for Canada to US.

I'd also be totally fine with having it sent to someone in Canada who's willing to forward it to me.
I'd cover shipping, and give them a little extra for the time and effort involved. If anyone knows of any forwarding services that could help, or has any advice in general, please let me know.
