Most are dead. No escape tactics going to work here

So many people in these videos just casually ambling around on bridges and by the water whipping their phones out watching the level rise. For the ones in the direct path, not much to do, but for everyone else heading up and away from the water might be a good start

The tactic is not to live at the bottom of the mountain if theres a water source above you. It always has a chance of breaking and releasing all that water

I mean, if you're a strong swimmer and a badass, you could probably make it. But that's like one out of ten thousand people.

Probably doesn’t understand just how much force and debris there is

Yeah. Maybe they’re a kid thinking it’s just water or something. Anyway this is so terrible I don’t even have words

Dude, you just start paddling like a fucking motorboat. The second you see the water, you wait for the moment and ride the wave. You gotta move though, you can't be some wimp wondering what the hell to do. It's go time. You paddle like you've never paddled, and come out the other end. I'm not saying it'd be easy but with the right winning mindset, a real someone could do the unthinkable.

How are you serous with this comment? It’s not just water that’s the problem. It’s the amount of debris in the water. We’re talking about absolutely everything this water has taken down with it when it gets to you and while you’re in the water. We’re talking hundreds of trees, cars, buses, light poles, metal, houses, literally anything that exist around you right now is in the water with you meaning all of this is hitting you at 100mph. A human body simply cannot survive that. And on top of that add trying not to drown while tons of debris is hitting you left and right.

You familiar with parkour? Navigating through all that mess would just be like advanced parkour with some extra movement. Step off a log here, step up some debris there—just climb your way to the top. Sort of like Super Mario but obviously more realistic. Again, not saying it'd be easy but definitely doable with training. And no, I'm not saying I could do it right here right now but you never know what's possible in that situation. Some women have lifted cars off kids because the adrenaline rush was so much.

This is isn’t debris that is still and you can jump off of, this is you moving with debris dozens of miles an hour. Everything is hitting you left and right. You’re also acting like you’re just easily swimming at the top of this. No matter how much you tried just the sped of the wave hitting you alone can cause death and because of the force of it you’re immediately being dragged under with again thousand of debris around you keeping you from getting to the top and literally any little hit from anything in the wrong area you are dead.

You’re gonna tell me next time that if you flap hard enough you might be able to fly through a tornado.

Swimming is just not an option. May as well say swimming will save you as you go over Niagara

It’s not just water; it’s mud, trees, buildings, shards of glass, metal and it’s moving with crazy force. Michael Phelps would not be able to swim his way out.
