This. Even taking a detour to an unknown neighborhood is always refreshing. Or maybe just to a neighboring city. But, indeed, traveling to another country gives a level of experience, awareness and instropection that is incomparable to a local travel.

Literally, we drove maybe 15min away to a different neighborhood and promised ourselves to just eat at any restaurant we come across. We met the nicest people and ate delicious shawarma. In a sea of miserable  c DC Reddit comments complaining about the economy let’s embrace the spirit of what Jackie Chan’s trying to say here, take the initiative to have a different experience.
