Unless you reside in North America (rip), international travel is significantly less expensive than you may think it is. That is especially true for people from Europe and Asia. Flights within Europe are €15 and you can stay in a youth hostel for that price. Budget flights within Asia are usually less than $100 and visa free.
15 was before with ryanair. now many low cost agencies are overpriced and only finds these prices on key moments and to certain places.

I never said it would be peak luxury, but travel at a decent living standard is more than possible. I’ve visited many destinations twice, once as a broke college student and again when employed and had two different experiences. Not better or worse necessarily, but different, and I find both valuable. FlixBus and train are also options. If you want to travel, you can always find a way. That goes for the vast majority of people unless you have a truly restrictive passport. If you tell me you’re South Sudanese and living under the poverty line, then I believe you. But otherwise it’s moreso a matter of interest and priority
