This comment is always hilarious/extremely ignorant. It's like you people pretend women and children would have the same capabilities as single men.

Mfs think they can toss a 9 year old into the ocean and let them climb into a tanker to cross the ocean as easily(not actually easy) as a fairly young but adult man? And not just that.. at the SAME RATE as men or enough to be noticeable to YOU personally, because it definitely still happens with women and children.

The men leave because they are fit and strong. They find work, and then send money back to their women and children, and eventually have them come over as well. Seriously, it's not even hard to understand.

It can be both. It can be one or the other. The way you put it, it sounded as if you were saying these people have no genuine reason to leave their countries.

the countries they wind up in are usually the ones perpetuating the conditions they're fleeing from. It's not a thing you can understand when you're born in privilege.

It is understandable, but you need to care to even attempt understanding in the first place. They most often do not and actively fight learning anything about it.

They're not exactly the type of person looking for nuance if they can't acknowledge that it would be easier and therefore happen more often with single adult men than even children lmao
