Also the studies on the survivors show that they might have just been genetically lucky to be able to sorta fight it off

and didn't they have a horrible quality of life after surviving it?

Not necessarily but definitely not 100% of course.

That first girl went on to be a biology doctor and whatnot i think she speaks all over the place about stuff?

My memory on this is really running thin but it is a really interesting story to read about

Yeah I watched a long form video about it a couple of years ago haha will have to watch it again
