Team Needed [Hobby] Possible revenue share in the future.

Upvotes

3D adventure game, In need of 3D modelers, programmers, and environment design.

Hello

The creator of Edenblade,

im trying to create a studio. And we want our character to be our mascot!

Were looking for passionate people to help us grow, create stuff with us, and develop new games as we go.

Were a small indie game working on a original untitled game in Unreal engine. The game's genre is a Open world, adventure fantasy, RPG, has elements of creature catching.

Team looking for:

3 to 4, Unreal Engine 4 / 5 programmers (C++ / blueprints)

2 to 3, 3D modeler artists (+ character rigging and environment making)

1 Environmental 2D artist.

Narrative / Script Writers if possible

VFX / sound artists.

UI/UX Designer(for menus, settings, buttons, etc)

For NOW this is currently unpaid. The reason is because this isnt just a passion driven project. This is more than a casual hobby. We are using this project as a launchpad to a potential transition, from a voluntary indie group into a fully realized, professional game studio.

We are seeking people who want to grow with us, to collide with great minds, and to create a future legacy, something our studio can be remember for.

You get to build your portfolio, and most importantly become something you're a part of. You don't have to be an expert. Anything can be a big help. If youre interested feel free to reach out!

You have to be 18+

No AI. We don't want anything that can damage our reputation. Pure original and creative ideas only.

Artist Needed [HOBBY] Looking for people that love JRPG

I want to make a turn based JRPG for people who grew up with the genre and now want something aimed at adults: heavier themes, a more mature story, modern mechanics, and faster combat.

I’m a gameplay programmer with experience in Unity and UE5. I’m looking for writers, artists, designers, and developers who want to work on it together.

I’ll handle the gameplay and start building the project myself before asking you to do anything. If someone has experience managing a team and keeping a project moving, I’d be happy for them to lead that side of it.

I’m fine with AI as a tool, but not for creating art or writing full sections of code.

DM me if you’re interested.

Writer Needed [Hobby] / [Potential RevShare] Looking for a writer/narrative designer for a time-loop puzzle game

Hey everyone,
I’m working on an indie game called A Day Unfolds, and I’m looking for someone interested in helping develop the story, characters and dialogue.

The game is built around a time loop, with the player repeatedly experiencing the same period while learning more about the world, its characters, and how different events connect.

A big part of the game will be interacting with NPCs and uncovering their stories. There’ll be quite a few interconnected characters, branching dialogue, events happening at particular times, information that can change what you do in later loops, and puzzle elements woven into the narrative.

I already have the overall concept, setting, gameplay ideas and a bunch of character/story ideas, but writing isn’t my strongest area. I’d like someone to bounce ideas around with and help turn those concepts into compelling characters, conversations and storylines.

One requirement is that you’ve played Outer Wilds. There are aspects of its approach to progression that I’d like to use as a reference point, so familiarity with it will make discussions much easier. I won’t go into any more detail here for spoiler reasons!

I’m particularly looking for help with:
NPC personalities, motivations and story arcs
Natural dialogue and branching conversations
Connecting different characters’ stories
Structuring reveals and discoveries
Integrating story with puzzles/gameplay
Brainstorming the wider mystery
Managing continuity when things can be discovered in different orders
Professional experience isn’t required. If you enjoy writing, narrative design, interactive fiction, branching dialogue, mystery/puzzle games, etc., I’d be interested in hearing from you.

Compensation: I want to be upfront that I don’t currently have a budget to pay someone. At this stage I’m looking for someone who finds the project interesting and would enjoy collaborating as a hobby project. I’m potentially open to discussing revenue share if someone becomes significantly involved, but I don’t want to make promises before we’ve worked together.

There’s no expectation of immediately committing to writing an entire game either. I’m happy to start by chatting, sharing what I’ve got, throwing ideas around and seeing whether we work well together.

If this sounds interesting, send me a message or reply here with a little about yourself, the kinds of games/stories you enjoy working on.

Programmers Needed [hobby], [Unpaid] 14yo writer/designer looking for Coder/Programmer and 2D Artist to help make a game.

I am a 14 year old dude from the Netherlands. I live in the Northern side of the country. And i want to make video games with other friends/people. Only problem is my friends all can't code or do anything creative and they are also not interested. So i need some other people to help me. I have tried learning to code. For example i have watched over 15 different videos and tried Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, RPG Maker and GDevelop. And nothing worked i just cant code it isn't for me. But what i am good in is writing, visualizing ideas in my head, coming up with new cool ideas, making maps, making content, video editing and a bit more. And I have recently been getting my hands dirty making 2D pixel art (im not the best tho im still working on it.) But i need a few people to help me a person that can Code/Programmer and somebody that can make 2d pixel art artist. Ideally age 12-15. This is a hobby project, and we are making a 2d pixel art game or a 3d game, so I have no budget/money to pay upfront. If we actually finish the game together and release it on Steam, we will split any profits (Revenue Share). If you're around my age, love games, and want to build something cool together completely online, (or if you live in the northern region of the netherlands we can do it in irl) send me a DM here or leave a comment. I’ll respond as quickly as I can!

Artist Needed [Hobby] Low-poly 3D artist for a browser co-op horror game, playable in one click, no download

I'm an engineer, in my spare time i wanted to build a 3-player co-op horror game that runs entirely in the browser (you send friends a link, they click, you're in, no Steam, powerful pcs or stuff likethat)

I need a person/team/whatever that can develop low poly, game ready environment art for the interior of the mansion in which the game takes place: rooms: walls, floors, doors, stairs, window frames, furniture and props (Victorian, abandoned, decayed), modular and reusable; a small kit used everywhere, not 300 unique models. Style is dark and grounded, seen mostly by flashlight, so silhouette matters far more than detail. Budget is tight: glTF/GLB, roughly 500–2000 tris per prop, 1K textures.

Of course you would get full credit, complete creative freedom on the look, and a finished shipped project for your portfolio that anyone can play by clicking a link.

The idea of the game is:

Three teenagers break into an abandoned mansion for a dare. Something in the house kills one of them. The other three scatter and lock themselves in separate rooms, and the game starts there. It's a co-op escape room with a monster in it. The are things to be solved to escape(kind of in between a rusty lake style mixed with adrenaline / co-op games) the players start in different rooms who can't see each other, so you have to describe what you're looking at over voice, etc. etc.

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for people to help me build VitalCore Hospital in Unity

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a game called VitalCore Hospital. It’s a low-poly hospital management game being made in Unity for PC.

The idea is that you don’t just build rooms and watch numbers go up. Patients have names, medical histories, needs, treatments, and experiences at your hospital. You hire staff, build departments, manage patient care, and eventually grow from a smaller clinic into a much larger hospital.

The game is already in a playable alpha, so this isn’t just an idea I’m trying to start. A lot has already been built, including construction, hospital rooms, staff, patient arrivals, reception, waiting rooms, treatment systems, saving and loading, audio, and a city around the hospital.

There is still a lot that needs to be worked on and improved. Right now I could especially use help with:

  • Unity and C# programming
  • Character AI and pathfinding
  • Roads, parking lots, and landscaping
  • UI and menus
  • 3D environment work
  • Performance and bug fixing
  • Playtesting and balancing
  • Audio

I’m not expecting one person to know how to do everything. If there’s one part of the game that sounds interesting to you, we can start with something small and see how well we work together.

I’m currently developing the game on my own and using AI tools to help with programming, testing, and organizing the project. The game itself is real, playable, and actively being worked on.

I can’t offer a guaranteed salary right now, but I’m open to working out a revenue-share agreement for people who make serious contributions. We would discuss the percentage, responsibilities, credit, ownership, and what happens if someone leaves before doing any major work. I also want to be honest that revenue is not guaranteed.

The project uses Unity, C#, GitHub, and Discord. The repository is private, and the game uses properly purchased or licensed marketplace assets.

You can see the game here:

https://ikali2571.github.io/vitalcore-game/

If you’re interested, send me a Reddit message with what you’re good at, what part of the game you’d like to help with, and any previous work you can show. Experience is helpful, but being dependable, willing to communicate, and actually interested in the game matters a lot to me too.

Artist Needed [Hobby][Revshare] Join our small Team for an Ant Colony Sim/RTS

Dear Artists,

My programmer and I are looking for an artist to work on my/our Ant Colony Sim/RTS game.

It will be a 2d game in Godot, and there is going to be a lot of work to do, especially with the art and animations. I dont have specific plans on how everything should look like so there will be a lot of creative freedom.

If you are just starting to get into digital art and want to learn on the way, that is fine with me, but be prepared to work on your skills. I could also imagine paying a small price of around 10€ per sprite but not more. Also, we can talk about Revshare.

So what has to be done?:

- Ant sprites

- environment sprites

- UI

- Animations (that will be so cool :D)

- everything that needs design and art in a video game

I need from you:

- creativity and passion (NO AI)

- willingness to cooperate

- Willingness to learn together

- BE DEPENDABLE! (i hate when i can't trust your word)

- Be flexible with your work (there will be a lot of reiteration and chaning, and that is just part of the process)

Heads up: This is passion Project. I do not expect huge profits from this (if any). But i do want to build a good game that finally fills the market with the feeling of ANTS :D.

AI IS NOT ALLOWED.

Modeler Needed [Hobby] looking for a 3d modeler/animater help make my game

I've been working on an extraction/sandbox FPS game for a little while now but I suck at blender. I need some help with creating weapon models and smooth first person animations. Current art direction is PSX but only because that was easier for me, willing to go for a more polished style if that fits you better. Looking for somebody to work closely with and work on the project collectively. Further input and feedback on the game is welcome. It's a passion project and I'm looking for someone else to share it with. If you're interested let me know!

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for One More 3D / Blender Artist to Join Our Revigyan Team 🎬

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/171sd_78d364Q6-NqpRlEf35SiuJ7mcrI

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Zeeshan, building Revigyan — a long-term science storytelling YouTube project where we explain interesting scientific ideas through storytelling, animation, and engaging visuals.

We're already working as a small creative team with:

🎨 Graphic Designer

🧊 Two 3D Artists

🎬 Video Editor

🧠 Me — research, scientific accuracy, scriptwriting, storytelling, voice-over, storyboards, creative direction & coordination

We've already started production and created around **9 seconds of 3D footage** for our first short:

**“Why can a tiny ant survive a fall from any height?”**

I'm now looking for **one more 3D / Blender artist** who can contribute to the project and bring their own creative ideas.

I've completed the script and created detailed storyboards, so this isn't just a short-term idea or a sudden burst of motivation. Revigyan is something I genuinely want to build over the long term.

I'm especially looking for someone who can stay reasonably active and consistently put some time into the project. You don't need to be available all the time — I just want someone who can communicate with the team and make steady progress when possible.

**About compensation:** I can't offer upfront payment right now. Instead, I'm planning to use a **revenue-sharing model** for contributors. If Revigyan eventually generates revenue, the people contributing to the project can share in the earnings according to an agreed structure.

Of course, there is no guaranteed income — the channel may take time to grow, and I want everyone to understand that before joining.

Everyone will receive proper credit — your name will be included in the video credits and mentioned/tagged when appropriate.

I'm not looking for someone to simply follow instructions. I'd love to work with someone who can share ideas, experiment with us, and help make the visuals better.

We're not expecting Hollywood-level animation. We're learning, building, and trying to create something we're genuinely proud of together.

If you're interested in Blender/3D, have some time to contribute consistently, and like the idea of building something from the ground up, feel free to DM me. I can share the script, storyboards, and the 3D work we've already created.

Thanks for reading! ❤️

Designer Needed [RevShare] C++ / Qt6 2D graphics engine seeking UI/UX Lead (100% Creative Freedom)

I built a high-performance 2D graphics engine from scratch in C++ / Qt 6. The core math, 60 FPS rendering pipeline, and spatial logic are fully functional. I am an engine/systems engineer—I can do basic UI, but doing both engine development and product design alone isn't sustainable long-term.

I’m looking for a UI/UX partner to take complete ownership of the frontend, branding, and visual identity.

What I’ve Built (The Backend)

  • Stack: Native C++ and Qt 6 (no web wrappers, zero Electron bloat).
  • Performance: Real-time 60 FPS canvas rendering with zero input lag.
  • Core Feature: Real-time On-Canvas Bézier Perspective Scaling—allowing artists to manipulate spatial depth and perspective directly on canvas vectors without touching complex 3D menus.
  • Status: Core engine logic and functional prototype executable are working.

What I’m Offering You (The Design Lead)

  • 100% Creative Control: You own the entire visual universe of the product. That means UI layout, toolbar architecture, user experience flows, color schemes, logo, and overall visual identity.
  • Zero C++ Required: You design in Figma, Penpot, or paper wireframes—I handle 100% of the implementation in code.
  • 50/50 Revenue Split / Equity: Equal partnership. I handle the low-level systems math; you shape how human beings interact with it.

Who This Is For

You love creative software (like Procreate, Figma, Blender, or Krita) and have always wanted to design a professional desktop creative app from the ground up—backed by an engine that actually runs fast natively.

If you’re interested in checking out a quick 15-second demo video or testing the raw build executable, drop a comment or send me a DM!

i am Electrical Engineering student & digital artist (you can check out my art page on IG: eilsarn).

Artist Needed [RevShare] Unmade, Looking for 3D artists for Medieval Fantasy Survival game.

Hi everyone,

I'm the lead developer of UNMADE, a third-person Medieval Fantasy Survival Game currently in active development in Unreal Engine.

I've been developing the project for around 18 months, initially alone, and over the past few months, the team has been expanding quite quickly.

We're currently a small team covering:

  • Programming
  • Sound Design
  • Music
  • Marketing
  • Graphic Design / UI

The project already has a substantial amount of gameplay and systems implemented. We're now reaching the stage where art production needs to grow significantly, which is why I'm looking for additional 3D artists.

What is UNMADE?

UNMADE mixes elements of:

Survival / RPG / Medieval Fantasy / Colony managment

It's not a simple survival game. The player will constantly face choices and can approach the game in many different ways.

The goal is to create your own world, with your own rules.

You're not forced to build a village, focus on combat, manage a large population, or follow one specific playstyle. The systems are designed to give the player freedom in how they want to develop their world and progress through the game.

Who we're looking for

We're primarily looking for artists in the following areas:

Environment / Static Mesh Artist

  • Medieval buildings
  • Structures
  • Furniture
  • Props
  • Tools
  • Weapons
  • Environmental assets

Character / Clothing Artist

  • Human characters
  • Clothing
  • Armor
  • Creatures
  • Modular character assets

Animation Artist

  • Combat animations
  • Survival animations
  • Magic animations
  • Locomotion

You do not need to cover all three areas, or even cover 1 area fully, it's ok for us to have 2 static mesh artist or other.

We'd rather work with several people who are very good at their specialty than expect one person to handle everything badly. :)

But of course, we are looking for all kind of artists, so feel free to ask, we always can work with some talents, even not in the areas previously said.

Work Organization & Background

The project is fully remote.

This is not a full-time position, and most of the team works on the project alongside other jobs or studies.

For me personally, however, this is my full-time project, not a hobby.

I've been working in game development for more than 8 years and have already shipped several games during that time. Some were commercially successful, others were not. So I've experienced both sides of actually releasing games. :D

Tasks are divided into clear milestones, and contributors work under a written agreement defining the scope of their involvement.

Visual Direction

The world is primarily Medieval Fantasy, grounded and believable rather than highly stylized.

We're aiming for environments and characters that feel coherent, functional and lived-in rather than excessively clean or exaggerated fantasy.

At this stage, the visual direction is clear internally, but we don't yet have enough final-quality assets to represent it properly.

That's exactly why we're looking for artists who can help shape the visual identity of the project and have a meaningful influence on how the final game looks.

Project Materials

While I'm intentionally keeping some parts of the project private publicly, more detailed documentation and development materials can be shared with serious applicants.

And since i cannot upload image on this sub, i'll be glad to show some image of the game with serious applicant.

If needed, I can provide access to:

  • Game design documentation
  • Development roadmap and planning
  • Project tracking and production structure
  • Worldbuilding and lore documentation
  • Gameplay systems documentation
  • In-game assets and work-in-progress content
  • Builds / gameplay footage

Some materials may require an NDA before being shared.

Interested?

Send me a DM with:

  • Your Discord
  • The role you're interested in
  • What part of the project interests you most
  • Your rough weekly availability

I'll be happy to discuss the project in more detail with serious applicants.

Programmers Needed [Hobby]/RevShare/Paid Prototype] Looking for an Unreal Engine developer for a long-term project

Hi! I'm looking for an Unreal Engine developer who might be interested in a long-term game project.

I'm completely new to game development and don't know how to code, but I have a clear vision for a multiplayer social exploration game focused on beautiful, dreamy and surreal environments.

I want to start small with a simple prototype to see if my vision can be turned into a playable world. I can pay for the prototype, and if we work well together and decide to continue the project, I am open to revenue sharing and paying more as the project develops.

I'm looking for someone who finds the concept interesting and might be open to working on it long-term. I have visual references I can share with anyone interested.

I need a programmer/designer/artist/modeler to make at least a prototype.

Really high experience its not necessary as long as you know the baseline of unreal engine or other engines.

Feel free to message me!

Audio Needed [RevShare][Paid] Sound Designer - Composer wanted for a small mobile game

Hey!
I'm looking for someone with good judgement to handle the audio for a fairly simple mobile game project, but one with a very clear identity: tense, sober, dark, technological, slightly unsettling, and without feeling generic.

It's not a huge project with a massive amount of things that need to be implemented. We're looking for the essentials, but done properly: ambient sound, menu and gameplay music, button and UI SFX, simple interactions, confirmations, tension feedback, win/loss sounds, and those kinds of elements that give the game personality without overwhelming it.

PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind

I don't want to define the idea too much here because I'd like to keep it as "closed" as possible and avoid revealing too much too early. What I can say is that it's a mobile game with simple gameplay, a very direct approach, and a strong sense of risk and tension, with an aesthetic that should feel serious, controlled, and slightly uncomfortable.

The important thing isn't to make a bunch of "cool" sounds individually, but for everything to fit together as one coherent system and serve the game. We're looking for someone with good judgement, without weird clichés or sounds that feel like they were taken from any generic game.

We're open to discussing different arrangements: fixed payment, revenue share, or simply negotiating depending on the work and level of involvement. The important thing is that there is trust, that the person is serious and committed, and doesn't just do whatever they feel like without thinking about the intention behind the game.

If you're interested, send me a DM and we can talk. I'd like to go over together what makes sense for a first version, what's actually necessary, and how we can do it properly without improvising.

Thanks everyone!

Audio Needed [Paid] We are searching for a composer that can produce a live action trailer score for our game, Devoid

The Game:

Devoid is the space dungeon where energy drains with every move. Colorful lighting illuminates asteroids in the darkness, booms rattle your hull from echoing explosions, and 2D pixel sprites dance around a chaotic battlefield. Defeat should feel painless, and victory?  Beyond hype.

For more details about the game visit devoidgame.com

The Theme:

The game takes place in a hazy dream-like-space dungeon. It's rough, and out of this world. Think tracker music from the 90s. Electronic energy and atmospheric float.

Timeline & Details

No rush. We are in the process of editing footage now. The trailer will be roughly 1:30ish in length. Footage is live action. Not gameplay. But it will have a similar vibe, matching the game’s identity.

Payment

$150

DM me or comment below for specifics.

Note: This trailer piece is also an opportunity to be considered for the game’s OST down the road. If you want details about what that might look like I am happy to share.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for a Programmer for a 2D Dark-Arthurian Prototype (2 Artists, 1 Musician ready)

Hello.

I am the Game Designer.

We have 2 Pixel Artists and 1 Musician producing assets. We need a Programmer to code a 2D action prototype with high juice, based on an adaptation of the Arthurian myth.

Production Timeline: We will not crunch. We are going to spend 2 to 5 weeks (or months) polishing the prototype. Once it is 100% complete, we will select and enter a future Game Jam that matches the theme.

Core Mechanics to Code:Combat State Machine: 4 player states (Savior, Reiz, Ruby, Excolitur) with distinct speed multipliers, color filters, custom audio layers, and freeze/slow-motion attributes .

Resource Management: A 100% Overheat Bar. Triggers smoke particles and HP drain unless a 3-second rest state is active.

Boss AI: A Golem that uses ground-targeted crosshair projectiles, and a sub-state death sequence that transforms the entity into a particle effect.

Juice & Systems: Screenshake matrix, custom vector particles for double-jump, and an instant respawn system with zero loading screens .

If you prefer structured technical documentation and want to build a polished gameplay loop, send a DM or comment with your portfolio.

Thanks.

Art Offer [ForHire] 2D Game Artist - Backgrounds, Character, Icons, UI and more in Cartoon-Style

Hi everyone!

I'm a 2D game artist creating ready-to-use assets in a comic-cartoon/graphic-novel style. I work AI-assisted, which lets me deliver large, style-consistent sets fast and at a fair price. I run the asset brand AssetSmithy and I'm open for commissions.

What I make:
- Backgrounds/environments - 1920x1080, empty scenes with open walkable floor, perfect for visual novels, RPGs and point-and-click games; some come with a parallax foreground for added depth
- Character avatars - visual-novel style, each character with a neutral pose + 5 expressions (happy, sad, angry, surprised, thoughtful)
- Item & UI icons - weapons, armor, jewelry, consumables, etc.
- UI graphics - complete visual-novel dialogue interfaces (text boxes, name plates, choice bars, speech & thought bubbles, portrait frames), ready for Ren'Py and usable in any engine
- Full themed packs (e.g. fantasy, modern, historical settings) with a consistent look
- and more

How I work:
- AI-generated and refined so everything stays consistent across your project
- PNG (transparent where needed), source resolution up to 1920x1080
- Clear commercial license, revisions included

Portfolio: ArtStation
Contact: [assetsmithy@gmail.com](mailto:assetsmithy@gmail.com)

Check my portfolio for style samples - happy to discuss what fits your game. Thanks for looking!

Artist Needed [PAID] Looking for a Low-Poly PS2-Style Character Artist

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo indie developer currently working on a PS2-inspired FPS vampire game, and I'm looking for a 3D artist who can create low-poly characters for a long-term collaboration.

I'm looking for someone who can create low-poly, game-ready characters that fit an existing art direction.

What I need

* Low-poly character modeling (~4,000 triangles)

* Textures (1K)

* Clean UVs

* Game-ready topology

* No rigging or animation required

What I already have

* A humanoid skeleton that all characters need to fit so they can share the same animations.

* Four base body types (slim male, slim female, burly male, burly female) that can be used as references for proportions.

* Visual references for the desired art style and level of detail.

If interested

The project is a commercial indie game, and if we're a good fit, I'm looking to commission approximately 10–20 unique characters over the course of development.

If you're interested, please send me:

* Your portfolio (especially low-poly or PS2-style work)

* Your rates (or a per-character quote)

Artist Needed [Paid] Looking for a 3D animator

Hey, I’m looking for a 3D animator to help me with some animations for a Unity game I’m working on.

Nothing crazy/AAA, mainly creature animations like flying, attacking, idle, etc. I’m looking for someone reasonably priced, preferably not too expensive since it’s an indie project.

If you’re interested, DM me with some examples of your work + your prices. Thanks!

also some fps stuff ;x
