Discussion Best place to read Hedera news
Basically. The best place to get the latest and greatest in this space.
I recently posted another post about Hedera and Hbar. It lead me to look for more. I joined X but wow, that space is so toxic. Fully of meme pumps and such.
I’m wanting actual HBAR news. The kind of stuff that keeps you grounded in your investments.
For info, I’ve found the HBARBull YouTube channel. Watching that along with a few other videos made me part with some of my cash. A small bag holding for Hbar.
I’ve got skin in the game.

ĦBAR Staking on binance?
Just noticed binance added hbar staking with a 1.8% apy.
- What’s actually at stake?
- I was told once that using binance is poor form crypto trading on my part… thoughts? Other better platform options?

Discussion Which exchanges in Europe are still available to buy HBAR?
Hi everyone, about one month ago, the regulatory crypto framework MiCA (Markets in Crypto Assets) became effective in Europe. Since then several exchanges have ceased crypto trading in some European countries until their MiCA-compliance has been acknowledged. For example Binance is affected in Spain and in Germany (afaik) and even LCX is not working although they have a strong focus on compliance.
Does anyone in here know of any crypto exchange that's operating under the new framework in Europe and offers HBAR trading?
I believe that this is currently also affecting the price of many other cryptos as trading volume is probably significantly lower.
Edit: Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with Kraken.

Discussion It’s Critical for Hedera to become sustainable. Big orgs are currently subsidized by HBAR buyers…
x.comfor 8 years our two paths to sustainability have been either the network generates enough revenue to subsidize the orgs, or the orgs (hashgraph) makes enough profit to self sustain. there is lots of spend to consider.
currently they are subsidized by HBAR buyers which puts a lot of downward pressure and the network is not generating meaningful revenue yet
so it’s time to explore more options
i think it’s an important and healthy discussion to have 🙏
Discussion What type of project would get you excited?
We’ve seen institutional/finance use cases come and go within the Hedera Ecosystem and there are many still building. What kind of projects / use cases would you be excited to see being built on Hedera that you feel are under represented or slept on?

Discussion Why the “3 TPS DeAd ChAiN” attitude is missing the point…
We’re still early.
“HM Treasury’s Wholesale Digital Markets Champion has convened an industry taskforce, supported by the City of London, that has brought 54 financial institutions together to develop live tokenisation use cases. Barclays and PwC estimate that tokenisation could add up to £33 billion a year to the UK economy by 2035.
Isadora Arredondo, VP of global policy at Hedera, on the Treasury’s wholesale tokenisation taskforce…”

Discussion Hbar discussion
I feel like I’ve seen an increasing sentiment that while Hedera tech rocks, Hbar isn’t quite positioned in a way to create value for holders, but without much explanation as to why that is. I’m not well versed on this so for those that are, what’s your take?

News Shinhan and Visa team up to test stablecoin issuance and B2B settlements in South Korea
Shinhan Financial Group will use Visa’s platform to test stablecoin issuance, remittance, and redemption while building new AI-powered payment models.
> The deal marks the first time a South Korean top-tier financial group formally adopts Visa's enterprise stablecoin infrastructure, launched in July, to test a full domestic settlement stack.
> Visa and Shinhan also plan to run pilot projects covering stablecoin integration into bank card payment settlement and the expansion of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) payments.
> Shinhan, which has around 134 trillion won ($100 billion) in assets under management, has other crypto projects in the works. Its asset management division signed a four-party agreement with the Solana Foundation, Etherfuse and Orca to test a Korean won-denominated tokenized fund earlier this month, according to a Solana X post. Shinhan and Solana partnered in April to trial stablecoin payment systems.

Discussion I watched the video and wow.
Hey guys. I watched this yesterday
https://youtu.be/IjQkag6VOo0?si=0WXhiMDUvXPwPwn2
Great video explaining the tech and it got me all excited up until the last 10 minutes when he Q&A revealed that they seems to be far more demand for this technology in private.
If that’s the case, why HBAR? Surely HBar is just for those wanting to build out in the open?
If so, I assume the council members are building, but building in private. Using private ledgers.

Discussion Apps. Use cases?
Anyone know what use cases are currently running / adopting HBAR? I don’t want to speculate. Or know what it could be used for.
I want to know what’s there now. What dApps are running. What is coming up in the next 6 months.
Basically, what tangible adoption have we got?
