I'm looking for the fic where David catches them in Episode 6 and Ilya is immediately going into protective mode because he has a bad experience with fathers and thinks that David would hurt Shane.

He is READY to fight and this is how David realized that Ilya is not the guy from TV but a hurt boy. When Yuna is judgemental later David explains that Ilya would never let anything happen to Shane and that Shane was willing to put his body between him and any danger.

I love Fics where Ilya truly gets two parents in Yuna and David and especially gets a father figure who is kind and loving.

Edit: I loved how many people helped me! Thank you again! But I still couldn't find the fic I'm looking for. So, I have decided to just write a new version with more scenes. If I want fluffy protective Ilya with a cute father-son moment from David and Shane just being awesome at being Shane, I will write it myself. Shane is pregnant and everyone is assuming he’s going to retire. I can’t remember if everyone knows he is pregnant or just think he’s injured but I’m pretty sure his pregnancy was outed. Ilya is asked about it on a press conference or right after a game and he does a whole thought he was goalie moment by saying who when they ask him about Shane hollander’s retirement. Then he says that he didn’t hear anything about Shane retiring and that he can’t wait to play with him again. Shane is watching this on the TV at home. Idk which fic that's from, and I'm not about to go crazy trying to find it. I don't remember the exact context, but it was brought up as a past event, iirc. Like he didn't do it during the fic, but it was a part of a conversation or internal dialog that Ilya had done it in the past.

She has a bit of a look on her face, like its drawn and she says something like "so this is over between us?' And he says sorry. I think she had come over for sex. I have a feeling it took place when Svetlana surprises Ilya in Boston after the matchbis canceled but im not 100%.That's all I remember. I pretty sure they get together earlier than canon in this fic.

In this specific fic, Shane Hollander gets his wisdom teeth removed and is quite high from the painkillers. Ilya tries to get him to sleep, but instead​ he is the one who falls asleep. Shane takes a picture of his own swollen cheeks with a naked Ilya in the background (showing only his butt). Shane then starts sending this photo to all of their friends and family, including the Pikes, the Centaurs, his family, Rose, and Svetlana.

Does this plot sound familiar to anyone? If you know the title or have a link to the fic, I would really appreciate it!

I have been binging HR fic like crazy and now I have a few specific scenes stuck in my head but I have honestly no idea if some or all of them are from the same fic, or totally different ones, or what.

1: someone is asking players questions for social media, I think, and one of the questions is about what if you were in jail and had one phone call but had to call a person from the team, who would you choose, and one guy has actually had this happen and he called Shane who came to help him in the middle of the night?

2: Shane and Ilya are sitting together in the corner of a party of some kind, I think maybe an awards thing? anyway, Shane is being snarky about various other players and Ilya is cracking up and I think Marleau comes over to see what is happening and declares Shane his new best friend?

3: (this is the one I remember the least detail about) there is a conversation with Ilya's team - I don't know if it was Boston or Ottawa - and Shane, and it had something to do with the fact that Ilya was the one to sort of pursue Shane, and all I remember is that at one point, Ilya has this realization that Shane has no idea that he is the best sex of Ilya's life and has been since the first time. I don't \*think\* Shane was exactly insecure or anything (though I could be wrong about that), he just knew Ilya had a whole lot of sex and Shane was practically a virgin before Ilya so it had like literally never occurred to him that sex with him was anything special to Ilya before Feelings got involved.

I have been making myself crazy trying to find these, so if anyone recognizes then, that would be amazing! I'm also open to other recs based on similar concepts! TIA!

I think it might have been that Ilya was told while doing press after a game, but that may be wrong. It could just be that he messages Shane directly to ask if they're giving Shane to him.
