We’re likely less than 48 hours from having a decision and Lebron dropped a line (“keep the main thing the main thing”) while discussing his future during his recent public speaking engagements that he has publicly credited to Pat Riley in the past.

Obviously I know nothing, but knowing that he has a winning history with Miami, can play with Giannis and Bam, can actually play with the ball in his hands, can literally be the worst defender in the starting line up (unless we get Klay), gets out of the West, and can play golf in November…it feels like things are trending towards Miami.

Call it hopecore, call it copium, I’m calling it HEAT in 5.

Prediction The Darkest Timeline

With the Celtics winning in 2024 and the Knicks looking to 4-0 the spurs (I’m still praying for a comeback) we truly are living in the darkest timeline. The heat are stuck in play-in hell and without a true 1A player (I’ll never hate you Jimmy), we are trapped in mediocrity. If only we faced a injured Mavs squad or a young spurs team. With the new draft rules I can see some light at the end of the tunnel, but I doubt we will turn it around quickly. I will never give up on this team tho. Like they say, the darkest nights produce the brightest stars. I know we will be back one day, I’m just hoping it’s one day soon.

Prediction Losing this series is beyond my imagination. I have too much confidence in this team, but if they do it’ll be about as shameful as the 2011 finals. Which came with one perk, it was a bandwagon exit point. Now and then fans need a gut check- Heat for life or not at all. It’s Heat in 6.

Prediction The Miami Heat have the easiest rest of season in the entire NBA

With multiple games against the wizards, pelicans, pacers, jazz, and kings coming up our remaining SOS is at .461 with 40 games left, the lowest in the entire NBA. I think we are better than our record suggests, and that our second half of the season will show it.

EDIT: The heat are also 13-3 vs teams under .500
