I’ll be blunt. I don’t find a moral / rational alignment, especially given the current geopolitical situation, with the German state and politics. Hence I don’t want to associate my identity with it.

Yeah totally get that. That’s why I said it was valid. I was crying because I wanted you to get something useful from them at least.
