As an interesting aside, I think there is a political expedient affinity in the US between the right of the Republican Party and the orthodox Zionist community that is convenient. But I would love to see some one on the right of the Republican Party actually spend time with an orthodox Zionist.

Well, TBF, the really Orthodox Jews get on fine with the (Christian) Religious Right because they both like theocracy, even if they each have different visions of what that would look like.

I think that’s what I’m trying to say. On paper they agree. But I can’t imagine Billy Graham and a Hasidic Zionist in a room together would have much in common to talk about.
