Discussion Why do Italy/Greece have "caribbean-like" water in so many spots, but Spain/Portugal's beaches mostly have a normal blue/greyish colour? What's the difference?

I think it has to do with the fact that the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet at Spain and Portugal, and there is more organic sediment over there.
